A member of our family has been receiving long-term care at Abbyshire Place, and we have been extremely impressed with the quality of care and the compassion of the staff. The care team is kind, attentive, and highly competent, and it's clear they genuinely care about the residents. We also appreciate the wide variety of social activities offered and the excellent job the kitchen staff does preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals. We are especially grateful to Glenna, the Business Office Manager, who helped us navigate the many financial, insurance, and administrative complexities of arranging long-term care. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond for residents and their families are truly exceptional.

The care that the team at Abbyshire Place has given my parents has been tremendous. They have attended to their needs and have gone above and beyond to help them acclimate to the facility. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Everyone is proactive and professional. My parents have also received physical therapy that has helped them to get stronger and more active. They have even gotten my mom (with Parkinson’s) talking better and more expressive. Thanks to all who have welcomed them and helped them feel at home.

You can count on when you press a call button and hour before someone strolls in. Patients are not allowed to us the restroom during meals. Don't waste your time with their social worker as she promises everything to your face and delivers nothing.

Positive experience as a short term rehab patient. The staff have all been helpful, friendly, professional, and kind. I don't feel overlooked at all and am looking forward to completing my rehab with the services that are provided. Any questions or concerns I have had have all been anwered and listened to.

The admissions process was seamless during a time of urgent need. Thanks to Morgan Hall who excelled at providing support, linkage, advice, and information. Could not have made this transition without her. The therapy services and nursing have done a wonderful job. Staff works hard. They are overall genuinely caring, friendly, and attentive as they can be with their work load.

The people caring for patients seem extremely understaffed with just a few people working. If its within 2 hours of a meal there is no one to help someone who pushes their call button because they are moving people to and from the dining area. Management needs to staff properly so employees don't become overworked and patients aren't neglected. Some of the people here are truely caring, amazing people who put up with a lot - I'd give them 5 stars! The others deserve 1 star. They routinely made my grandfather wait over an hour to help him get out of bed and use the bathroom. When we tried to talk to management about it, the staff retaliated, and it got worse with them turning off his call light without assisting him. When I would visit i would offer to get someone for him after he waited so long, but he would say not to ask them if they were on rounds because they would get mad. I hate that he had to spend his last few months here. If your family member can get around on their own, you might be fine. But if they need assistance getting up and using the bathroom, from our experience, your loved one will wait uncomfortably until they can no longer hold it and then have to sit in a soiled bed until someone finally comes.

I came to Abyshire pretty much a vegetable. I had been in Cleveland Clinic for 31days. I was in bad shape. But they saved.life .I came hereFeb 13th. Still had a feeding tube. The staff and rehab staff took such good care. The Rehab department is awesome. I am going home on the 13th of March. They taught me how to walk and stand a d balance. I can walk alone like 300 feet. I am using a cane to help with balance. But I know I would not be where I am today without this wonderful staff. I highly recommend Abyshire to anyone, just can't say enough about it

My dad has been a patient for one year and has been very happy there . The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. Would recommend.
