4.4 · 161 reviews⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We are very pleased with the care our father-in-law has received at Amherst Meadow Rehab Facility. The facility is clean, well-staffed, and offers plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. The nurses and staff are always friendly, attentive, and caring. He is happy there, enjoys the food, and always has what he needs. It's comforting to know he's receiving such a high level of care. We truly appreciate everything the staff does and would highly recommend Amherst Meadow Rehab Facility.
The staff here genuinely likes to help people. Very friendly and accommodating. My Aunt loves it here and she is getting stronger every day.
OMG!!! WHEN ARE THEY PLANNING TO FIX ALL THE POTHOLES! I have gotten 2 flats within a 13 month period already and just recently had a tire air pressure warning (my front driver side tire!!!) Ugh! This is like totally so UNFAIR! The holes are hard to avoid and quiet large. My insurance asked me to take pictures next time of the holes and put in a claim. WILL DO! FYI: My comment has nothing to do with their service to their customers, their medical staff, or quality of care.

Having over a decade of experience working in this industry, I would like to share a positive review for this facility after my grandfather spent his final weeks here after a courageous battle against Parkinson’s Disease. He was initially admitted for rehab from an ED visit from home. I will admit the therapy equipment and services leave a lot to be desired if rehab is the goal. He unfortunately was admitted to hospice services and ultimately passed while at the facility. The nursing staff were wonderfully kind and helpful to my grandmother as she navigated this difficult transition. Would recommend this facility for end of life care if needed. As in all other facilities in this industry in the post-COVID world, the staff are doing the best they can with the resources they are given and the ones who show up to work and provide kind, compassionate care deserve to be commended and recognized!
Staff are genuinely caring of patients, always greeting my loved one with a warm hello and a smile... it means to much to us. The facility is nice and clean; the staff bring any concerns to my attention very quickly. The residents have a wide range of personality types, and have also been nothing but kind and chatty when approached. Thank you Amherst, from myself and my family.
The team did an amazing job taking care of my dad. I cannot say enough about them, especially Shannon who guided us thru the obstacle course so to speak. My dad needed physical rehab as well as suffering from memory loss and the team was fantastic with him. Even we he got a little grumpy! Thank you everyone for taking care of him. Highly recommended!
Everyone’s been so great with my mother in law. She’s had so much health problems an every one’s trying so hard to help her. It eases my mind so much Thank you all.
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Amherst Meadows and their incredible social worker, Shannon Spencer. She has been extremely responsive and consistently on top of every step of the process, making everything feel smooth, convenient, and easy. Shannon truly has a kind heart and an outstanding work ethic, which made a meaningful difference during my experience of a transfer to our community. I couldn’t be more appreciative of her. I would highly recommend this Amherst Meadows and Shannon in particular to anyone. Thank you!!
