I highly recommend the Arbors at Mifflin nursing facility! The staff are very friendly, compassionate, caring, and genuinely attentive to the residents. It’s clear that the people who work here care about the individuals they’re taking care of and treat them with kindness and respect. The facility is clean and well-maintained and the overall environment is very welcoming and comfortable. Most importantly, I would feel comfortable recommending this facility to my own family or friends, and would not hesitate to send one of my loved ones here. It’s refreshing to see that there are facilities…

I'm always so highly impressed to hear of all the activities that Kim in the activities department is putting together for the residents. I'm told that when the weather is warmer this often includes fishing trips and opportunities for outside time. It's not easy to transition to a long term care facility but it's good to know that Arbors does everything to make the stay more comfortable.
The care is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. They took amazing care of my grandma.
if i could give zero stars i would the aids and nurses here are a joke not showering patients on their shower days running their mouths and talking poorly about patients and acting like caring for them isn’t their job or something and refusing to give patients medicine that they are life dependent on i have never in my life seen a nursing home refuse to give a patient their medicine when someone needs their medication such as a shot they should receive it dka is a real thing and so is going low and passing out and the treatment is ridiculous out of these aids and nurses and needs to be investigated patients screaming for help all throughout the night and the aids just get high and smell like weed coming into the patients room to deal with it bugs crawling on patients i could go on but i think this is enough
My husband was transferred from the hospital yesterday, ti this place.. it was about noonish when he arrived at the Arbors. He fell out of bed about 3:00. He sat on the floor for 45 minutes. Before help arrived. They called me. Saying all is fine. He had major back surgery on November 24th. I demanded he be checked out. They hsve done nothing fir him. No therapy, no laundry, nothing. I am just nimb.
My mom was there for a little over week. The nursing staff was great. The therapy department was great. She said everyone treated her very well. They felt loved and taken care of. We don’t expect her to have to go there but I would put her there again. Keep up the good work Mifflin you’re doing great. Thanks for taking care of my mom and spending time with her she needed someone the most.
Do not leave your loved ones in their care!
My dad was sent here on January 18, 2025 after a week long hospital stay for a kidney and blood infection. On January 19, 2025 we (mom and I) visited him. This place is dismal. I understand they are short staffed, and trying. I understand his stay was supposed to be short for rehab, but in the 1 night and day he was there he was not cared for appropriately. He told us they weren't going to do anything with him, so I went to speak with the charge nurse. She did confirm his rehab plan, but she told me that he "had an accident" this morning, and was able to change his own clothes. He however, told us, he peed in the bed last night and they left him there all night, wet, and it wasn't until morning he could get clean. His bed was not flat, but trough shaped, maybe to prevent him from falling out, but it only prevented him from being able to get up on his own. Basically, I think they are doing the best they can, considering they are under staffed. But, this is NOT a place for rehabilitation, this is a place you go to, to die.
