Everyone wants their family member to be cared for in a "homelike" setting. Aria actually has food that smells like home, a variety of activities including outside volunteers for music and individual enrichment like chess. Is it perfect? No. We've had communication and medical issues at times, but they always get resolved satisfactorily. The owner, Darren, is very hands-on, and you can get ahold of him if you need to. The staff here are consistently some of the best I've seen of 5 different facilities my various relatives have been in. Everyone wants their family member to be cared for in a "homelike" setting. Aria actually has food that smells like home, a variety of activities including outside volunteers for music and individual enrichment like chess. Is it perfect? No. We've had communication and medical issues at times, but they always get resolved satisfactorily. The owner, Darren, is very hands-on, and you can get ahold of him if you need to. They legally can't call themselves a nursing home because they don't have a nurse on-site 24 hours, but in my personal opinion they give much more and more timely care than any nursing home I've ever been in.

We were given a tour of the facility and shown the available rooms and how the day is set up. The staff were seen interacting with the residents and everyone was up and dressed early. The assessment was done at our home and the nurse manager was wonderful. We were given her contact information and told we could use it whenever we needed it. Compassion and understanding was what we loved the most from the initial process. Our mom will be moving in the first of the month.

The staff are wonderful. They multitask and everyone helps with everything. There are twelve residents and the layout is small, but it allows for the residents to smell and see what's cooking in the kitchen. The food is good and they offer a three week menu rotations. The staff are like a family. They really care about each other and the residents. They are very attentive to the resident's needs and offer very personalized care. The staff have expectations for the residents and work to help give them a chance to improve.
My family and I are very pleased with the care and attention that is given to our mother at Aria. She is happy and feels right at home. We are relieved to know that she is in good hands. The staff is patient and respectful to the residents, as well as accommodating to their families. We are glad to be part of the Aria family!
Tremendous If you’re looking for a place that makes your loved one feel important and keeps them in a social setting, and not locked behind a door. Aria cares about its residents. Been here for a year and it’s been great for our mom we feel very secure and comfortable having her here.
Aria of Gates Mills exceeded all of my expectations while my father lived at the house for almost 3 years. My father came out of his shell while living at Aria, because the staff made sure he got involved in activities that he would have never done while living at our house. Most importantly, I grew to trust the staff at Aria with my most valuable asset, My father! TEN STARS!
Wonderful experience for both patient and family. Specialized loving care. Could not have written a better end of life story for my Dad. Thank you.
