The Frederic Nursing and Rehab Center in Frederic WI had a wonderful Activities Director who knew all the residents names, did daily activities with the residents, shopped for them (often using her own money and then waiting to get reimbursed), and truly cared for all the residents. Yet she was let go (apparently because of the color of her skin). Tammy Farmer (Center Administrator) fired the Assistant Activities Director first because she claimed they couldn't afford the $500 referral bonus which was due to be paid out in 3 days. Then the Activities Director was let go accused of misusing money when there was no protocol for money handling in place. Both these people are of nonwhite decent (there seems to be a pattern). The Administrator has no business running such a facility if she can't manage well enough to pay a $500 referral bonus that was promised. It reflects on the entire facility and corporation. Now the former Activities Director has been denied unemployment because of the mean spirited reason given to the state of Wisconsin as to why she was 'let go'. The Attorney General of Wi and the WI Department of Labor will be hearing about this terrible injustice. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
If their service is anything like the blonde dry hair looking lady that was so nasty about their reserved parking spaces, I would NOT use their services. You never know who you are talking to, nor what they are there for. No thank you, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
