Aventura at Shiloh Springs

To be honest I would no even give them the one star but I had no option. Please do not send your love one there cause they will leave them negleted 24 hours a day. From the doctor to the director to the nurses and nurse aids. I had a family member in this for facility for 11 days and they almost killed them. I was there everyday and never saw a nurse come and check his Suger before or after meals, left dirty depends in his clothes to be taken home in a bag, air conditioning broke in his room and it was over 90degrees in there and they shut his door cause of the smell. Was told to bring our own bug spray for the flies, he fell and got a cut on his head and no one saw it but someone cleaned the blood up cause he's on blood thinners, never offered water till I went to the director and that was a joke cause she said she will but him on a buddy system to be checked on every 30minutes never happened. My brother had a major stroke and couldn't speak up for help or hit his call light for help cause he can't remember. My mother hit the call light many times and it was over 25 minutes or more if someone decided to come in. The nurses lies about BP pressures cause they lied to us. Long story short my brother was transferred out by ambulance with a heart rate off 44 and super low BP pressure and dehydration this caused my brother to have another major stroke in their facility while mother was screaming for help. Now my brother can not walk no more and can't speak the words yes or no and has damage to his heart from his stroke. I can go on and on about this facility but I'm begging you don't send your love one there to be neglected and also we was never told it's a drug rehabilitation center as well. Im Begging you stay away and look somewhere else if you love and care for your family member. Also they are clip board nurses that come and pick up hours and make more money cause they are short staffed so this means they are only there for that extra money instead of making $30 they are making $60 so they don't care.

I do not recommend this place and would not recommend it to anyone. When you wanted something you pull the cord and your light goes off. They didn’t have sounds so it you may have waited 25 minutes for someone to come because with the exception of 3 we’re off hiding so they didn’t see the light on. House keeping was good. Food, I never knew there were so many ways to fix chicken. One day I had chicken, corn and broccoli. That very same day they just mixed the stuff together and gave it to us for lunch. I even had an aid go in my purse that was in my drawer. Yes the people were nice but I would need more than smilies
