Brookdale Austintown has become a safe and caring home for my Aunt. She truly loves the staff, food, activities, and the other residents. I love that I can relax in knowing that she is receiving excellent care. The facility is lovely but the staff is where Brookdale truly shines. I cannot say enough good things about the care, kindness, compassion, and patience shown by every staff member not only for the residents but for their family members too. Brookdale Austintown has become a safe and caring home for my Aunt. She truly loves the staff, food, activities, and the other residents. I love that I can relax in knowing that she is receiving excellent care. The facility is lovely but the staff is where Brookdale truly shines. I cannot say enough good things about the care, kindness, compassion, and patience shown by every staff member not only for the residents but for their family members too. My wife was a resident of Brookdale Austintown, and they're perfect, the staff, the aides, and everybody. The nurses went over and did what they said they would have done. They were fantastic, and that was a beautiful place. The people were great. Their service was great. It was a nice facility. They took care of the people. It's very hard to look at these places, but Brookdale in my eyes, they were over 100%. They were fantastic. They had to call hospice and we got hospice to come in there. Even with the hospice coming in, they still cared for my wife. There's no complaint at all with that…

My wife was a resident of Brookdale Austintown, and they're perfect, the staff, the aides, and everybody. The nurses went over and did what they said they would have done. They were fantastic, and that was a beautiful place. The people were great. Their service was great. It was a nice facility. They took care of the people. It's very hard to look at these places, but Brookdale in my eyes, they were over 100%. They were fantastic. They had to call hospice and we got hospice to come in there. Even with the hospice coming in, they still cared for my wife. There's no complaint at all with that facility.

My loved one was not safe here I cried everyday that she was here. She was mistreated by an employee but it didn't matter to the director because the employee was brought back and we had no choice but to leave. They will rob you blind and serve crap on a plate.
Don't put your loved one here! A family member had to file with the Ohio department of health because an employee assaulted a patient. After they gave the employee time off they brought the employee back. They charge $350 a month penalty fee if you don't have your prescription filled by them and also they enjoy $2,500 service fee just to take your loved one in.
This is an Excellent Facility and the staff is outstanding. The people are Loving and Caring and are trying to make our Loved ones lives fulfilling and as comfortable as possible. Sometimes Stuff happens things are lost or forgotten and these Great People figure out how to resolve problems and concerns and continue to take care of our Loved ones. Thank you For the Job that you Do! If our Loved ones could they would also say Thank you and I Love You!
I feel Brookdale is the very best Alzheimer's facility around.
We toured Brookdale Austintown. The bedroom was like a real bedroom. It wasn't a shared space. It had a carpet. The guy said and explained things to us. They seem to have activities for them. The tour guide was nice. He was warm and friendly, and they kept in touch with us.
