I have been at Medina Pointe Senior Living for almost 15 years. The staff is kind, caring and compassionate and committed to the care of your loved ones. Our community offers various activities, programs and services all catered to meet the needs of all of our residents. Our dining staff offers homemade soup, salads and dessert every day. We also offer a variety menu options so you are guaranteed to find something delicious every day. We are also a pet friendly community so you can bring your furry companion. Please stop by for a tour and we hope to see you soon.
I transferred to this location two years ago, and in all my years working in assisted living, this has truly been a life-changing experience. I have never met a more compassionate team in my life, and I would wholeheartedly trust them with the care of my own loved ones. 💙
Allie is very helpful. She goes the extra mile to get things done. They are going through some updating but the team there pulls out all the stops to make everyone feel welcome
Read your contract thoroughly!! I had a relative who had stayed here when it was Brookdale Camelot. There was a constant turnover of Aides. The care was minimal and they took their good old time getting there. Be sure to use a nanny cam. It is now legal in the state of Ohio. You need to monitor the care of your loved one to make sure you are getting what you are paying for. It appears they are under new ownership here... Hopefully they will turn things around and make their contracts more fair. They should not continue to charge you for rent, once your loved one passes away! If I had to do over again, I would use private owned facilities only! So much more flexibility... And your complaints about staff won't fall on deaf ears. An aide announced, loudly..."Oh yeah, she's on her way out!" As she stood beside my relatives death bed. She was a big mouthed beast! Hopefully they have fired her by now... But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Now this uncaring Assisted Living Community has been bought out by Sinceri Senior Living, Vancouver Washington. Let's pray that they get it turned around. The residents need care, good food, activities and improved quality of life.
OMG?! Where to begin? Public Service Notice Warning. You will get charged for services if you sign up for them, but then cancel them because they are no longer needed. If your additional signee is on the contract, they will send collection services if primary resident did not pay due to services NOT being provided. Then, when collection services start and you ensure your resident pays the final bill for those non-provided services, they STILL send some bogus late fees and other random charges? So, be prepared for a headache dealing with these folks. They also do not prefer to return phone calls. The front desk will answer, but the GM and the chief financial accounts manager will not return phone calls seeking clarification and confirmation of billing with itemized receipts. I am convinced itemized receipts arw purposefully NOT provided to try to milk as much out of you as they can.
The communication is good. They know their residents well and know when things may be going bad for them and try to solve the issue. They appear to truly care.
All facilities are expensive. Overall I was happy with the facility. It is a Clean and friendly atmosphere and yes, we would recommend the community to other families.
