My stepmom stayed here for a respite week. When we went in to pick her up, she was sitting at a table for lunch. She had a green banana on her plate that she had smashed. She loves bananas but I suspect she couldn’t peel it. She didn’t appear to have taken much of shower or had her hair brushed while there either. There was no nurse available to speak to when we picked her up. When I called back to ask questions, I spoke to several people who said they would investigate the situation and no one ever called me back. Not sure why. If I could give zero stars I would. They neglected my mom. They kept her room hot, closed the door, didn’t have water within reach, and put her cell phone far enough away that she couldn’t reach it. All of this while was was delirious from sepsis. My dad and I had to fight to have her transported to the hospital. Knowing what I know today I would have called the ambulance myself and requested the police as well. If you care about your loved ones, do not allow them to go to this facility. My mom unfortunately passed away because of their neglect. She was only supposed to be in rehab following surgery and instead she never got to come home.

You will not find a nicer place for people who are in need of independent living or dependent. If you do, you’re very lucky! We visited several retirement homes around our area and I also have experience dealing with retirement homes in the past. Not only is the building top notch, the staff is the best. Don’t believe me, ask them how long they have worked there.

Night staff is terrible. Understaffed in the evening. Wait for 2 hours or more for help. Attitudes are getting worse

Would give them no stars but was not a choice. Overnight staff is horrible left my Mom naked in bed with diaper draped over her because they were too lazy to keep changing her. Had her drugged up and was in a catatonic state. For her safety had to remove her from this awful place. If you love your loved ones do not go there

My uncle was in there 17 days. The care and food were horrible most of the time. One night he only had a piece of pizza that looked like card board and a cup of fruit. They never gave him the drink he wanted and we always had to have them bring something else. One day he did not get breakfast or lunch. A friend that was there went and asked for him to get some food. Call lights were not answered for hours especially at night. Until we complained he was never got up on the bedside commode and he could do this. Very understaffed at night. I am truly saddened by all this and it makes me feel like crying. He called his daughter on several occasions and she had to come in to help with the urinal. No one would answer the phone at the facility. He had no bath until day 17 when we removed him. He was totally independent before his fall and surgery and he was there to rehab to return home. They used most of his skilled days and he was no closer to being able to return home. They were going to begin charging $500.00 per day on private pay the day we removed him. Other places were much cheaper. This man is sharp as a tack and knows what is going on. He received no Occupational Therapy until a few days before we removed him. Physical Therapy was okay but not enough to get him independent. He was left lying in urine and bowel for 4 hrs one day. His daughter was there. No recliners in any of the rooms we saw. There were some good staff there, but if no family had been around to notice, he would have never returned home. After one week at the place we took him to on day 17, he is now walking over 185 ft with a walker, doing ramps, mostly dressing himself and will be going to his daughters in a few days until a ramp is built at his home.

Definitely agree about the poor food and quality! We have been complaining for a year now about over cooked vegetables that are mushy. Fish that about an 8th inch thick with half inch of breading. When my mother asks for more of anything, she is told they ran out. They fill out a menu every morning. Many times they receive something different because they are out of what was scheduled that morning. Tonight's "smoked sausage" was a plain hot dog on a plate!!!LoL Is that even a nutrients serving of protein?????

Late retrieving patients from the hospital. No UTI prevention protocol in place despite being asked about it for 25 years. Food is low quality and quantity. For example, 5 French fries.
