I have worked at the Manor for almost 8 years now. Its a small family place. Nurses and aides are wonderful.
Please do NOT put your loved one in here. High turnover in staff in the 3 weeks my father was there. Only a couple of good employees who actually care. Most got visibly annoyed with my dad’s minimal requests for drinks and ice and made it known to one another. The man wasn’t even eating actual food and they were bothered by the bare minimum. He was low maintenance and was not eating actual food. A couple of the aides got super nasty with him. The receptionist speaks of having your own private room when the end is near, this was a lie. She also stated they would be painting, as it’s old and…

She also stated they would be painting, as it’s old and run down, but this was also said to family that had their loved one there 2 years ago and it still hasn’t happened. Staff seen on their phones at the nurses station playing games when you’re waiting for their pain meds. They leave the mobile computer screen up and visible so anyone can see your loved ones information, breaking HIPAA compliance. Look elsewhere. I’m begging you!

I have been in the nursing field for 30 years and have worked in many different facilities as an aid and Nurse. With much confidence I can honestly say that Carlisle has been the best in more ways than one! Carlisle is a jewel in the rough! This little facility has more heart than any large facility I’ve seen. There is longevity in most of the staff with one of the most amazing MDS nurses who has been there over 30 years! A phenomenal Social Worker/BOM who has been there over 10 years and who works very hard to assure our residents have everything covered and all needs are met! An ADON who is barely over 30 years old herself who has been there over 10 years and can fix ANY technical issue when it arises, not to mention how hard this young lady works to keep our residents safe from communicable diseases and infections! These are only a few out of so many who has given not only years of their lives but the blood, sweat, and tears that has went with it! I love this little facility and am so thankful to have been welcomed into my residents home with loving arms. Carlisle may not be perfect but to me it is the perfect place to dedicate these last two years of my career loving, respecting, and watching my residents heal and go home or stay and feel loved and cared for. Thank you to my work family for making my time with Carlisle feel like time with family.
By far the best staff around with very little turnover. I love coming to work with the staff we have and look forward to hiring the best. Just last night our staff took our residents to the Balloon show in Middletown and took them up in a hot air balloons. How cool is that????? Love the love our staff gives to our residents.
Nothing but love at this facility. The staff is very caring, and knowledgeable. I am happy to see how they care for our elderly. Just take your time and talk to the residents. everyone works together to make a happy home.

Great place. I was placed here for preceptorship for an LPN program. The nurses and aids are so kind, truly care about their patients, work well together, and I learned a significant amount to use for my future as a nurse!
