Continental Manor

This is a wonderful place. i usually never write reviews, but saw a fake bad review come through from someone that was supposedly a resident, turns out they never were a resident. Then guess what happened, Continental Manor got an email from a company called Real Rep wanted them to pay them to remove the bad review. I'm thinking they are the ones that put it there. Scammers! If you are considering placing your loved one in a nursing home, pay the nursing home a visit. Talk to the residents. They will tell you how it is. Don't base important decisions on reviews unless you personally know the person giving it. Take a tour, and be sure to talk to the residents. Check out their facebook page, see what all is going on. It really is a wonderful place!

First Impressions are everything. When searching tirelessly for a safe / clean / high level of care long term facility from my mom…I was presented with several challenges from up to 10 local nursing homes. I was ready to give up when I was forwarded here. I stopped by completely out of the blue. I was greeted in the hallway by a nurse that was simply working her shift - Brandy. She wrapped up the task she was working on with her patient and stopped what she was going to walk me around the whole place. No secrets, nothing to hide, just full transparency with the facility and introduced me to some staff & residents as we walked thru. The admission director was in a meeting at the time but by the time she had shown me all around, she was wrapping up and was able to meet with me also - on the spot! You have no idea how much peace of mind this gave me after the lack of follow up and communication I had received from other places. Angie was so welcoming and gave me an honest timeline to expect an update on my mom’s admission. Cannot say thank you enough. And I look forward to this pleasant environment for my mom when she gets settled in.
