Our experience at Country View was truly exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment I first toured the facility, I remember speaking with another resident’s son who absolutely raved about the care there—and now I completely understand why. One of the biggest reasons we chose Country View was because of Destiny, their admissions coordinator. We were navigating a difficult move from a poorly maintained facility, and she went above and beyond to support us through that transition with kindness, patience, and compassion. She was never pushy or judgmental—just genuinely helpful and caring during an incredibly stressful time. To me, that was a true reflection of Country View’s entire approach. They don’t need to be “sales-y” because they are simply genuinely great at what they do. The entire team treated my dad, and our family, with so much warmth, kindness, dignity, and compassion throughout his stay. During one of the hardest times in our lives, they made us feel supported, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. We were never treated like “just another family.” They made us feel like family ourselves. The facility itself was always clean, welcoming, and well cared for, which brought an added sense of comfort and peace to our family. The staff consistently went above and beyond, not only in the care they provided, but in the way they connected with residents and families on a personal level. Even the family events they hosted were thoughtful and brought so much joy and connection. From the very beginning to my dad’s final days, the care he received was truly 10/10. I will forever be grateful to the Country View team for helping make such a difficult chapter feel filled with love and compassion.
My mom is cared for like family. We would highly recommend Country View of Sunbury. Lorrie Tiller (daughter)
Beware ! I'm not sure at all. What happened But my mom got extremely sick while she was there and looked like she was on her deathbed. They sent her out and she ended up at saint ann's hospital. The CNP signed a DNR which was not signed by me or my mother it made the doctor think she didn't want to be treated just comfort care. Had I not been there and talked the doctor into keeping her there and treating her which was what she wanted. She would likely be dead right now. This is unacceptable. He nearly ended my mother's life. Also, when she went from there to saint Ann's the nurse didn't clean…

I would not recommend this place unless you don't care for your loved ones.
I wanted to compliment the wonderful services at this skilled nursing facility (Kaley W.,Ashley A., Kahiesha). These ladies always provide the best care and they have a pleasant attitude. I feel blessed to have them be my aides! The doctors are very caring and the facility is very clean.
After experiencing a number of different care facilities, Countryview of Sunbury has, by far, the best care I have seen of all facilities considered. Though the facility is older than some, the care is, and has been, stellar.
Best of the best
The Administrator at this location is uncooperative. I emailed over three times a Power of Attorney and no response to the email as to if they received. The POA was hand delivered and was still completely disregarded. They release our family member on Friday 5/2. Tuesday 5/6 the squad was called, and family member was transported back to the hospital with more seriouse issues now. The staff was great but the administrator is horrible. Stay away!
My wife was admitted after a hospital stay after being diagnosed with multiple issues, mainly ulcerative colitis and IBS. She also has pneumonia and an infection. When admitted she couldn't stand or walk and that continued throughout her. Communication between nursing and staff is ZERO. She kept telling her therapist I'm sick and I'm doing my best. Evidently that wasn't good enough because after just over 2 weeks the insurance cut off coverage because she's no longer improving in therapy. No one really cared about how sick she still felt. They put her in the car and sent her home. 36 hours later I find myself calling a squad and performing CPR on my own wife. Lost her 3 hours later. It just makes me ANGRY how some people can just care about the business side of things and still look at you as though they truly care about the people they are entrusted to care for and protect.
