Mr Corey, Miss Dee and Miss Wendy welcome all patients and family members with a smile. They make us all feel comfortable and keep us engaged. If any patients want to participate they will be happy to come and get us out of our rooms and take us back to our rooms. With my experience the activity department is number one and unmatched. Ms.Amy the night shift supervisor is kind hearted, helpful advice and supportive. I'm sure her job can be hectic at times but I observe her handling her expertise in her field with ease. If you ever cross her Path you would be encouraged and uplifted. We all appreciate her being there if we need her 🙂. I don't know what you have heard but I have been here several times and Ms. Melissa Brown have still remain helpful, respectful and very supportive and all her nurses that I have had, Margaret, Rochelle, Ieasha, Clarissa, Neesha, Michelle are amazing with treating me and other patients with outstanding professional care. The Social Worker Diamond is very sweet, friendly, beautiful inside and out. She is approachable, respectful and helpful. She represent her title and name well even though she go around scaring the employees with her sense of humor side. 😂
After my Uncle’s death, I sought out Melissa’s help to assist me in ensuring my Aunt could afford to remain at Creekside. Melissa was extremely knowledgeable, and walked me through various financial scenarios including cost savings associated with a smaller apartment in the facility. She was courteous, professional and very personable, and showed genuine care, compassion and concern for my Aunt. I would recommend Creekside and Melissa to anyone looking to help a loved one transition to assisted living.
Creekside does NOT participate in the Medicaid Waiver Program. This program assists low income Senior Citizens. This is terrible. It's a shame on the Jewish Community & the people who have made the decision to not have the Medicaid Waiver Program. I contacted Corey Goldsand, president/CEO of WHV, who said they have no plan to participate in the Medicaid Waiver Program. Maybe WHV needs to get a new CEO!
Assisted Living. Nice facility, good food and variety of activities. However, my mom lived here and had money stolen from her apartment twice. She was reimbursed by taking the money off of her rent once but the other time she was out nearly $500. The nurse practitioner on staff misdiagnosed her with diabetes. My mom is on dialysis and she was put on a drug that was contraindicated in dialysis patients by the same nurse practitioner. She was treated well by a few of the aids but several were very rude. Several care conferences and issues were not resolved
Creekside and The Cottage at the Village are truly exceptional senior living communities! The dedicated staff go above and beyond to ensure that every resident receives the highest level of care, compassion, and support. From personalized care plans tailored to individual needs to the warm and welcoming environment, it’s clear that residents are treated like family. The team’s commitment to dignity and quality of life is evident in everything they do. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be safe, valued, and well cared for, I highly recommend Creekside and The Cottage at the Village!
Food is mediocre at best. Medical care and activities are terrific. Before you make a decision to come here, check out EVERYTHING.
Overall, I am feeling relatively good about moving here. However, the food could be improved. I would rate the food 5 to 7 on a 10 point scale. While it is satisfactory, it could be improved markedly with little additional cost based on my experience here. Nursing service is generally slow to follow up and perform covid, flu tests and to complete xrays.
We have had good experiences so far with Wexner. We came from a facility where the care was horrible, so this place has been a breath of fresh air. They have always been upfront, and have always worked with us on any questions or issues.
