Danbury Tallmadge

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this memory care facility, and I especially want to recognize one of the aides, Danneen. She is truly exceptional. Danneen treats every resident with genuine compassion, patience, and respect. It’s clear that she doesn’t just see this as a job—she truly cares about the people she’s responsible for. Working with individuals who have memory loss and dementia requires a special kind of empathy, and she handles every situation with kindness and understanding. She is incredibly patient, even during difficult moments, and always takes the time to make residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued. You can tell she forms real connections with them, which brings so much peace of mind to families. Knowing that someone like Danneen is there caring for my grandmother makes a world of difference. She is a true asset to this facility, and we are so grateful for her dedication and heart.

When my dad and mother-in-law were in need of extra care, surprisingly they both had the same request … good food! Sadly, they have both since passed and I am now taking the time for a review. The Danbury of Tallmadge delivered! An excellent staff headed by Chef Chad offered many selections and also made to order breakfasts. They looked forward to meal times knowing they wouldn’t be disappointed. We heard nothing but great things about the meals and great staff. I am sure others will agree with this assessment.

Recently on a Thursday evening, I visited close family friends who moved into Danbury Tallmadge and I was very pleased with my experience. I visited right before dinner time and fortunately for me, I witnessed first hand the compassionate dining services team do what they are most certainly meant to do. Chef Chad goes above and beyond when talking to residents about their likes and dislikes of the food that is served and provides many different options for those who may not be fond of what is being served as the main meal. It’s evident his exemplary model of leadership trickles down to the rest of the dining staff through encouragement to keep the best interest of the residents in mind. Multiple members of the dining staff greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming spirit. I look forward to visiting again and feel great peace of mind knowing my loved ones are being cared for by the staff of Danbury Tallmadge.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Danbury Talmadge! The staff truly care about the residents and go above and beyond every day to make sure everyone feels comfortable, respected, and supported. Their compassion and attentiveness really stand out. The food is excellent — always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. They also offer a variety of activities that keep residents engaged, entertained, and socially connected, which makes such a positive difference. It’s such a comforting environment knowing your loved ones are in a place where they are genuinely cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, caring community!
