Elmwood Center Inc

My dad's best friend was here for her last days & this place was the worst place I ever saw in my life! They would bring food trays in & sit across the room from her & knowing she couldn't get to them, they didn't clean the carpet in the rooms, she would vomit & it was still there the next day! Tv went out for 2 weeks and when they finally came on, hers didn't work and the family had to go up 2 or 3 times asking to fix her tv, cause she liked westerns & wanted to watch it. They didn't have enough bed tables for all rooms, couldn't keep wash cloths (my dad bought some & they never brought back even with her name on them). There was so many things i saw on a daily basis that just blew my mind. Ive worked in medical field my whole life and i know they over work you with not enough staff but no matter what there are some things you do out of common curiosity. My dad said he always thought Elmwood was the best place, but now after this experience he said he wouldn't send his dog there... I pray they get their stuff together or the state comes in because these patients pay enough money & deserve to live their last days a lot better than what dad's friend did!
