We placed our beloved aunt there in November and in less than a week she knew most of the staff by name because each and every many of them would stop in and say hello every day. Her level of care was above and beyond our expectations for assisted living starting from the welcoming from the director to the housekeeping staff to the dietary staff every one was so pleasant and helpful. My family and I cannot say enough great things about Elmwood Assisted Living. We placed our beloved aunt there in November and in less than a week she knew most of the staff by name because each and every many of them would stop in and say hello every day. Her level of care was above and beyond our expectations for assisted living starting from the welcoming from the director to the housekeeping staff to the dietary staff every one was so pleasant and helpful. When our aunt needed hospice, Elmwood directed us to Heartland Hospice who were also amazing and worked in tandem with the nursing staff. My aunt was so lucky to have so many caring individuals seeing to her needs and it was such a comfort to our family to know she was in such good and capable hands. I would highly recommend Elmwood if you wanted the best for your loved one.
Elmwood cared for my mother in her last days with exemplary care and services! The facility is under the direction and guidance of highly qualified professionals whose goal is to provide optimum standards of care for each resident and they do. They also care about their staff who deliver the care. The staff functions well with all disciplines providing coordinated and individualized care for each patient. They are a family and it shows in the care and respect shown to their residents and the residents families. I am so thankful and grateful for the care given to my Mother.
Outstanding care of our mother while she was a resident. She felt content, safe and enjoyed interactions with staff, residents and the activities offered. The food was excellent! Highly recommended this facility!

The staff truly care about the residents and do their best to make sure the residents have the best care possible. The building is clean and is decorated beautifully. I recommend this place for your love ones.
I've worked for Elmwood for 11 years and love it. It's a great family owned business.
I have been with Elmwood for almost 4 years. I have been in long term care for almost 40 years. This facility is well kept and maintained. The nursing staff is incredible. Our ancillary staff is equally as good. I have seen a lot of facilities in my career and few meet Elmwood's standards. I have know the owner for most of my career. She is actually a second generation caregiver and has a daughter who is 3rd generation. Her dedication to the elderly and her desire for quality of care is second to none. I am proud to call myself part of the Elmwood family.
My Grandad spent his last days at Elmwood Assisted Living and he was treated with such compassion and dignity. My Aunt called it the “Taj Mahal of nursing homes”. Beautiful facility with wonderful staff. I have also been an employee of Elmwood Group Homes for years and couldn’t ask for a better employer. Elmwood is a wonderful family to be a part of. 💜
Although my mother-in-law was not a fan about coming to an Assisted Living, possibly giving up her Independence...she today said, "now I know why you kids wanted me to come here." Her placement here, although temporary as it is, is offering her a safe alternative, a transitional stepping stone that is preparing her for success. Three meals a day, clean living environment, continued strengthening with therapy, staff that care. She is feeling supported in many ways and I'm thankful to the staff that have been making her feel special.
