As a representative of an outside agency, I regularly visit numerous facilities and houses around Trumbull and Mahoning county. Elmwood is, without a doubt, one of the most outstanding fun, clean and caring establishments I have been in. It’s one of kind!! I highly recommend Elmwood to anyone seeking a truly exceptional environment for their loved ones. The staff will make them feel just at home, and treat them like family.

I was at Elmwood last night for my first family night experience with my parents, which was amazing and very well organized. They moved in 5 days ago. The tornado sirens started going off and the staff immediately went into action. I was so impressed at how calm and quick the staff got all the residents and their families in a safe place. Thank you to all for keeping everyone safe!!

Elmwood is by for the best assisted living facility in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties combined. The staff is obviously the cream of the crop—from medical, housekeeping and kitchen staff to their fantastic activities team. Count your lucky stars, if you are a resident! If you are not and are looking for assisted living, I would run and not walk there. Kudos to Elmwood for getting it right!
My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the care our parents received there. My mom was in the Memory Care unit for almost a year, before we had to move her to skilled nursing. My father-in-law was in the Assisted Living unit for 6 years making many friends among the residents and the staff. They are both gone now, but you can rest assured knowing that your loved ones are in this safe, loving, home away from home❤️
We moved my parents from a different facility to Elmwood. The entire staff has been nothing but helpful, supportive and kind. They display great care for their residents, as well as their family.
