My Mom spent the last 2 1/2 To 3 months at Greenview assisted living. The entire staff was always very kind, compassionate and caring for my Mom. What I notice when I first entered the building was the staff and residents were all smiling and friendly. I would definitely highly recommend Greenview to others. Thanks for taking care of my Mom.
My mom has had wonderful care at GreenView. The staff is caring and helpful!
GreenView Inn was truly a blessing for our family. My grandmother lived there for over 11 years, and she absolutely loved it. When my dad would ask her if she ever wished to go back home, she would reply, "I am home" The staff always treated her and my family with kindness, dignity, and genuine care. Over the years, she built friendships, participated in activities, especially building puzzles, and enjoyed a quality of life that brought our family great peace of mind. Thank you to Jennifer Ringer and all the great staff at Greenview Inn!
Keeping our seniors happy and healthy everyday. We have the most experienced and caring staff in the city of Green! Just celebrated Nursing Week w our great nurses!
Absolutely a deserved 5 star. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a loving, helpful, family like assistant living. All questions, and requests are answered and you are taken care of right away. They have gone beyond our. Expectations. Here they even have a doctor visit once a week, church service, activities, yummy food, and a Van driver. Thank you to Jennifer and all the many competent staff members for all your help. Greenview is truly a home away from home. My aunt and our whole family are very grateful.
Greenview assisted living center is an exceptional facility, our family could not be more pleased! Our two-year experience with them has been amazing. We recently spent two weeks on vacation without a single concern. Thank you Greenview for all your kindness and caring that is shared with our mother.
My father was a resident of Greenview Assisted Living for 2 1/2 years. I could not have asked for a better place for him. Staff was always so polite to him as well as myself. I highly advise you to consider when you are looking for a place for your loved one.
Our family entrusted Greenview Assisted Living with the care of my grandmother for nearly three years, believing they would provide not only basic supervision, but compassion, guidance, and professional support during an already difficult stage of life. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing and, at times, extremely distressing. From the very beginning of her stay, it felt as though Greenview staff were adversarial rather than supportive. Instead of working with our family to help our grandmother adjust, there was a consistent sense that they were “out to get her” from day one—quick to criticize behaviors associated with aging and memory challenges, and slow to offer constructive solutions. This tone set the stage for a relationship that never felt collaborative or humane. One of the most alarming issues was the lack of basic safety measures. Cameras in individual rooms were “not allowed” and when we wanted one for her own private room, we were met with aggression which created conflict for the entire duration of her stay. The entire purpose of a camera in her room was to aid towards the safety and her well being. For a facility caring for vulnerable residents—many of whom have cognitive decline—this absence of oversight is concerning. Families deserve transparency and peace of mind, especially when loved ones cannot always advocate for themselves. At one point, Greenview threatened to move our grandmother into memory care, presenting it as a firm decision. However, once my uncle stated that he would remove her from the facility, Greenview abruptly reversed their stance. This inconsistency raised serious questions about whether their recommendations were based on clinical need or convenience. Decisions of this magnitude should be rooted in resident well-being, not used as leverage. The most unacceptable moment came when Greenview informed us—just six days before Christmas—that our grandmother was being forced out. We were given no viable solutions, no transition support, and no acknowledgment of how devastating and destabilizing this would be for both her and our family. We were new to navigating assisted living and elder care systems; Greenview was supposed to be the expert. Instead, we were left scrambling during the holidays, emotionally overwhelmed and without guidance. Throughout our interactions, empathy was noticeably absent. Conversations felt transactional and cold—purely “business,” with little regard for the fact that these residents are human beings with histories, families, and dignity. Every person in assisted living is there for a reason, and care providers should understand that behavioral or emotional challenges often come with aging, illness, and fear. Our grandmother was not an exception; she was the norm in a setting designed to support people like her. Additionally, Greenview offered zero assistance with Medicaid, despite knowing how complex and overwhelming the process can be for families. For a facility that routinely serves elderly residents who may eventually require Medicaid, this lack of support is another major failure. One comment made by staff still stands out as particularly disturbing: suggesting that maybe we “shouldn’t see her as much” as we did. Family involvement should be encouraged, not discouraged. That statement alone speaks volumes about the culture and values of the facility. In summary, Greenview Assisted Living failed our grandmother and our family on multiple levels—emotionally, ethically, and professionally. Assisted living should provide stability, advocacy, and compassion. Instead, we experienced hostility, inconsistency, and abandonment during one of the most vulnerable periods of our lives. I would strongly caution other families to thoroughly evaluate their options and ask hard questions before trusting Greenview with the care of someone they love. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
