One of the worst nursing home I have ever been in. No help, no assistance. I feel so bad then I have to leave my poor Aunt in this hell hole exclamation point

Would not wish this place on our worst enemy. Care for patients as individuals is almost non existent. Understaffed to where at some points there were not enough there to fulfill state requirements. You might get your meds you might not. You might get something that doesn't taste like it's soured or gone bad but most likely not. If you need assistance getting into and out of bed, you might get up within the hour but most likely it will be two.

My best friend of 40+ years is courageously fighting her way back to health. I am grateful for Hanover Healthcare Center, the staff and administration. I'm extremely pleased with the services and care they provide. They show genuine concern and attention for the well-being of their residents. We can always find flaws or shortcomings, but I chose to focus on the positive aspects of this facility. Although, my friends stay is temporary, it's not our first experience, but the best by far! All of her needs are being addressed and solutions are taking place day after day. The Assistant Director of Nursing has been exceptionally helpful in organizing a care plan, providing her with a Nurse Practitioner who addresses her medications and treatments. She's experiencing so many ongoing health issues but each of them are being handled, and we couldn't be more pleased. She participated in physical and occupational therapy daily, she's transported to & from her appointments safely. Every staff member I have encountered, including nurses, health aids, housekeepers, laundry department and dietary professionals have all worked together to make our stay bearable. Most reviews I've read seem to focus on the negative things, but they are so minor and are outweighed by goodness. I had no idea what to expect after a horrific experience recently at another facility, I must say my prayers have been answered and what matters most is that my friend feels loved and cared for. We thank and appreciate each and ever person that has lightened our load and has made our experience wonderful! 💯

Stay away from this place, they don't care about anyone who needs help with their wounds, they take there good old time when it's supposed to be changed at certain timeso or it never happens, and that's with the meds they don't care about the times, just give them at their convenience and time, and they will also go through your personal things and take it, including your money if it's in the drawers, My fiance was a patient there and doesn't drink any alcohol and they were sitting at the desks when he walked in and accused him of drinking, and he said that he doesn't even drink, and he told the 2 that he does smell alcohol coming from back there, So they Honestly need to be investigated in this place, there were days that he didn't have any food trays because they never came to the room, If you really Love your Family members you definitely don't want them in this unhealthy atmosphere 😡😡😡
