Wonderful place, amazing nursing staff. The administrator is top tier as well as the DON. Clean, loving and caring environment. The staff truly cares about the residents.
The current leadership team at Heritage Village of Waterville is stellar! Dedicated, compassionate and highly experienced, the Administrator and Director of Nursing have set the tone to ensure our residents and staff are well cared for and continue to raise the bar!
I have been a resident here for over three years. The staffing is excellent and the amenities are beautiful.
My brother move from blue creek. To heritage. Very pleased with the staff. Very respectful. I know people are entitled to there opinion. But this has been a real good nursing home. They deal with alot from my brother and been wonderful. Especially the things he put them through. You guys are wonderful ❤️ and I really appreciate the whole staff. Thank you once again.
I seriously would give this place NO STARS if I could. If this place couldn’t handle my mother, they shouldn’t have agreed to accept her from the hospital. My mom was sent out to the ER based on what Heritage staff said, her being combative and altered mental status. Please. She’s NEVER been combative a day in her life. And her altered mental status was due to them doping up my mom beyond acceptable limits. She has a wound, ER staff found “an unidentifiable object” inside her wound. Clearly they didn’t know what they were doing. I wouldn’t take my flipping dog to this place. Please just don’t.
Man charged with murder for strangling woman with towel at Heritage Village!!!
I just found out that my cousin was in this place Kimberly Moore and that she was strangled to death by another patient. I would love to know how this is even possible. She was 53 years old and went there for help for dementia how was somebody allowed to strangle her to death
My Dad Craig Burdo was at Heritage for almost 10 years on Medicaid. He was disabled due to a seizure disorder that caused a loss of brain function. He recently passed. Originally I think he liked it, he liked the nurses, and they liked him. Queenie was his and my favorite. She left a few years ago, around when the building got new owners. I think the new owners have been very ruthless in cutting costs to keep things efficient. My dad had a long decline, and couldn’t feed himself anymore, he was still present though. I refused to put him on hospice when they suggested it because I didn’t think his condition warranted it, not much had changed. They said because he might aspirate, he needs to be on hospice for them to feed him. They stopped feeding him or letting him drink for a week, saying that it was too dangerous for him to eat or drink as he might breath it in. It’s true he had issues with breathing in food but I think he would have died of thirst well before that happened. I fed him myself every day for a week until I signed him back over to hospice, I didn’t want to do it but they coerced me by not feeding him or letting him drink when I wasn’t there. I was the only person feeding him for that whole week. I don’t think he had a ton of time left, but starving my dad until I agreed to sign him back over to hospice is something I’ll never forgive them for. I think the nurses even knew it was wrong, but their bosses made them do it. Like many others that have posted, don’t bring your loved ones here if you have a choice.
