I will be departing Hudson Springs tomorrow to go to acute neural rehab. I have spent 50 days here recovering from spinal surgery. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The PT and OT staffs are excellent and Kimberly and Jillian have enabled me to make significant progress to the point where I can see a clear path to becoming an independent living member of society again. Something which I could only dream about when I arrived. All the staff here are very competent , thoughtful and loving and the entire facility feels like an extended family. Something which I could only dream about when I arrived. All the staff here are very competent , thoughtful and loving and the entire facility feels like an extended family. The nursing staff is awesome in monitoring your vitals and making adjustments in your treatment as needed. I am so thankful to have been able to be treated here.
They don't care about your loved ones. My mother hadn't been gone 3 full days when I arrived to pack her room. How odd it was to find another person in her bed and her belongings put into the basement after I was told, "This is your mom's room and nothing will be touched until you get here." They made this experience more traumatic than going to the funeral home. Also, they were not giving her psych meds as prescribed. I can't even imagine how tortured she was in her mind. Please don't send your loved ones here.
My mother was here until her passing recently. Even through staffing issues there were always a core group of people my mother thought of as family. She made a couple really good friends that made everything a little bit more bearable if that makes any sense. I want to thank everyone who took care of my mother Judy. You gave her the ability to live another year and a half and see her final grandchild be born and for that I am forever grateful!
I think it is a great thing that they help support the senior community of Stow by doing a once a month breakfast, plus once a month Bingo with Lunch. Lorri is the organizer and does a good job putting this together.
Very much enjoyed playing bingo with Lorri. She is very kind with everyone and efficient.
Visited a friend staying there for some rehab and he was pretty happy with his experience there so far. Met the therapist Sheena - she kept him laughing while we were there and that helped him keep him in a happier mood while struggling.
Very nice facility - we were hoping to put my mom there for rehab after leg surgery. We met with their staff and the OT (Sheena Evans) helped us get the information about what mom's therapy would look like.
Maddy from therapy is so helpful and knowledgeable!
