JAG Burbank

I am very impressed with JAG Healthcare Burbank. The combination of physical care for my mother, the medical professionalism, and the love and concern was overwhelming. I watched the therapists work so gently with my mom as she struggled to stand. The staff contacted me often in the first week to guarantee that I was aware of her health needs and how they would like to meet those needs.. They respected my opinions and put into place my 2 suggestions almost immediately. I highly recommend Burbank for your parents.

My brother was a resident at JAG in Burbank, Ohio for over two years. During that time he received EXCELLECT care by a team of professional, caring people. When he first arrived at JAG his health was very poor but they were able to restore him to an active lifestyle. The attitude of the entire staff is very upbeat and it is easy to see that they really care about their residents. To them it is more than just a job.... it is dedication! Thanks to them my brother was able to enjoy his best quality of life. I never had to worry about anything regarding his care because i knew he was in the best place possible. For that I am extremely grateful and highly recommend JAG Burbank Parke.

It’s a great place to be if you ever have to go to a nursing home,everyone is super friendly and would do anything for you to make you happy

From Nov 2024- Jan 2025, my mom received the most comprehensive, patient centered & evidence based care from THE BEST therapy team in the area. They coordinated her plan so that each therapist's area of specialty supported her progress in the other's, & changes were consistently implemented by direct care staff safely. Her nursing care was responsive & compassionate. They ensured any follow up needed with the facility physician was addressed quickly & communicated openly with our family to ensure we understood the information they had for us. The coordination of the practical issues of admission, progress of care, & discharge planning was very well managed. We were informed without being overwhelmed & had help in planning to make her return home safe & successful. The facility is clean, in good repair & easy to reach from the major highways. An area for improvement would be the meals; they were the only thing we had anyone else "warn us" about & were very much the dishes & prep style of an elementary school cafeteria circa 1970s-80s. As someone staying short term, my mom had us bring things for her to eat when the food wasn't something she'd eat. Permanent residents may not have access to that & would probably benefit from an updated menu. If you are in the area & are looking for care, I would recommend visiting to see if it is a good fit.
