I love the Activity Department here! Lots of fun community events!
Great local, hometown facility. They really care for their residents.

Very welcoming. Friendly
This place is terrible. Some.how. my mom's wedding ring and memory ring of her husband. Which is on a necklace. Suddenly came up missing. When she was at dialysis. Always having some sort of issue with this place. Can't wait for hwr to be transferred. I would never recommend this place.
KNRC does a lot with the residents and community!
This was my second time there, and it was worse than the first time. They made sure to do all they could to get rid of me, and I was supposed to only be there for a few weeks for inpatient rehab only. I have some mental issues that make it so that I cannot be around a lot of ppl and totally cannot be in a room with another person. The aides and nurses on my floor (Floor 300) were completely wonderful and made sure I ate in my room on my own, got me to where I needed to go, helped me as I needed help per PT's instructions, they were just awesome (When no one else really was on other floors esp floor 100) but one day suddenly they put someone in my room with me on the same day they said I had to leave that my insurance ran out but I had a 8 day grace period and could stay that long. Well, my Psychologist who was on the phone with me at this time this was happening told them on the phone the moment they were putting that woman in my room that they were going to horribly cause me mental issues, while they told me they could put me in a different room where I wouldn't have any problems, (So why couldn't they have put this woman in that room to begin with?) So, due to my Shrink and my POA and how all the top ppl who ran the place, a bunch of other Nurse aides from floor 100 and others were treating me absolutely horribly, they said I was no longer going to stay there. They had put me through too much emotional and mental anguish and took me out, even though I had that 8-day grace period, so that I could get more PT and come home much better. The kicker in all of this, my insurance called me after I got home two days later trying to figure out why I was no longer there, and said they never sent anything to Kenton Nursing home, saying I had to come home, that I was totally fine staying there, and they said I could have even gone back, and they would have okayed it. This place literally didn't want to deal with me anymore and tried to force me out. I needed the In-Patient Rehab so badly, and they've done nothing now but set me back even more, and I'm reduced to hope that I have no more falls at home, which is what sent me to them to begin with, and hope that Out-Patient Rehab, which isn't nearly as intensive, is going to help me in some way.
Very nice looking facility and everyone is so friendly.
