The apartments are very spacious and the best transition we could have asked for going from living in a house independently. Even after my dad left here the staff continued to visit him in the nursing home just to say hi. There were many activities offered and they made him feel welcome by encouraging him to join. My dad lived here for 4 years and we loved it. The staff was always great and they did a great job of keeping family informed. The apartments are very spacious and the best transition we could have asked for going from living in a house independently. Even after my dad left here the staff continued to visit him in the nursing home just to say hi. There were many activities offered and they made him feel welcome by encouraging him to join. The apartment included a kitchenette and bedroom which included a walk-in closet. They have a dining room as well as an outdoor dining area for cookouts in the summer. Transportation was always available for appointments. We couldn't have been more satisfied with my father's time here.
Levy Gardens is a lovely place to work or live. The staff is very caring and the apartments are spacious. Help is provided when needed and delicious meals are provided. There are many activities for tenants to participate in.
The smaller size of the faith based facility along with the support of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation creates a unique environment with access to activities and programs at the JCC and a true home-like family atmosphere.

I have recently toured this community and I was very impressed with [name removed], the director of Levy Gardens. He is very knowledgeable and was able to ease any concerns I have when considering a change in my living situation. While I was there I was able to meet the activities director. I think her name is [name removed]. She was very sincere and it was obvious how much she loved the residents. I have not yet applied for an apartment but it is at the top of my list.
I have been searching for a place for my grandparents and have finally found the perfect one. The staff was so friendly the moment I walked in the door and the amount of socialization and normal day living they offer is truly incredible. Everything is included and there is no hidden charges!
Small homelike senior living apartments are a good size for the price staff are always friendly and inviting and easy to talk to. Activities keep my mom engaged and I enjoy her telling me about the things she gets to do there! Much more social than when she was living at home. Transportation to appointments is also included in the cost and is the only place that offered that out of all the ones we toured!
My mom has been at Levy Gardens since 2014. After my Dad passed, my Mom made the decision herself to go into an assisted living. After touring many places, we decided that Levy Gardens was the best place possible. While the perfect place does not exist, the core staff truly care about the residents . They’ve gotten to know me name, and strive to take the best care of my Mom. Although it is sometimes a difficult decision to have a loved one go into an assisted living, as a daughter of a Mom who I adore, I would definitely recommend Levy Gardens!
A very nice place to live the facility is well ran. I’m not sure that there are other places like this in the valley. Friendly inviting staff my father seems to be really happy there the building is clean and I always feel welcomed
