While there, she's stated that the caretakers are neglectful, never take vitals, or given med when she's in pain. It honestly hurt me when I call to ask how she feeling. PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOME UNDERSTANDING ON HOW TO BLS
Great community!! Offers every service from IL to skilled nursing. Caring staff! Definitely worth a look if you are looking for a new supportive home for your loved one.

Mother Angeline McCrory Manor has been a staple healthcare community on the east side for decades. They have provided fine care to several of my loved ones over the years and having a community that offers all levels of senior care in one place is great.

Our family will forever be grateful to Mother Angeline Nursing Home for the incredible care they gave our 101-year-old grandmother, Rosa Mae. When she arrived, she needed not only physical therapy but also compassion, patience, and emotional encouragement and she received all of that and more from the staff. Through dedicated physical therapy and constant emotional support, she regained strength, confidence, and a renewed sense of independence. What stood out most was the endless support from every level of the organization. From the social worker, nurses and aides to the therapists, administrators, and support staff, everyone treated her with dignity, warmth, and genuine kindness. It never felt like “just a job” to them; they truly cared. They even called me after she was home to check on her; words cannot express our appreciation. At 101 years old, that level of attentiveness and respect means everything. Mother Angeline is more than a nursing home; it is a place of healing, humanity, and heart. We could not have asked for a better environment for our grandmother’s recovery, and we wholeheartedly recommend Mother Angeline to any family seeking exceptional care for their loved one. My previous review was very negative and was due to a couple of nurses who were clearly nnot doing there jobs and weren't interested in taking any responsibility for their in action. Fortunately, the staff and management took responsibility and launched an investigation. Changes were made immediately and I must say I felt heard and the problems were addressed. Thank you to the rest of the staff, I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a quality care. .
