We were there to visit my Step Son on a Saturday. From the start it wasn't a good experience to say the least. We rang the buzzer 3 times to get in. I tried to call them too. No answer. There wasn't an answer until the Mail Man showed up. Then when we went thru the doors the alarm went off. As we entered we finally found 1 person working, which told us what room my Step Son was in. There wasn't anyone at the nurse station & this was around 3pm. When we went into his room it smelled terrible. There was diarrhea on his wheel chair and on him. He said he rung for a nurse. There wasn't anyone at the nurse station & this was around 3pm. When we went into his room it smelled terrible. There was diarrhea on his wheel chair and on him. He said he rung for a nurse. She came and said she would be back witout doing anything after several attempts of him trying to get help. When we went looking for help There still wasn't any nurses or aides to be found. We finally found someone on the other side of the Nursing Home. The aide we found said there should have been 4 Aides & 2 Nurses working on that side. This kind of care is unexceptible. They need to be supervised closer. They need more employees. Then when you try to leave the door is locked and we had to buzz 3xs and try to get someone in the hallway to let us out. I understand the buzzer is for security but there needs to be someone there to answer.
I just put my wife in the facility today not satisfied at all has no closet cloths will have to be put in containers TV has no remote control remote control and is clear across the room probleremote
Most of my grandma's stuff is in other people's rooms and she has bruises from not being moved from her bed and whatnot.
Well I been here 11 days now and will be till the 13th of May and the people are really caring and friendly. It's not bad here at all
Poor care..Dad got cold food..no washcloths and towels..pee on floor just wiped up with a dry mop which left it like moping the floor with pee.. dirty urinals left out in open..made to stay in bed because they didn't have enough help to get him up etc.
My father has been a resident here for a few weeks. Caring staff, excellent medical and nursing care. Physical and Occupational Therapy were very dedicated to his recuperation and physical rehabilitation. All his special needs were attended to quite satisfactorily.
This assisted living home is a new facility, but simply populated by those moved from the old county home. My grandfather is living there and he is given great care being a retired navy veteran. The staff consists of numerous RNs and doctors, with countless CNAs assisting with the day-to-day tasks. They have recently had to install a code on the door to prevent individuals from running out of the facility after an incident where an alzheimers patient stumbled out and almost got to the road in front of the building.
