I am so grateful for the excellent care he has received and the tremendous improvement in his overall health and well-being since being there. The entire staff is professional, caring, kind, and absolutely has the best interests of their residents in mind. The facility is spotless, the atmosphere is friendly and the care team is always willing to help the residents adjust to being there as well as helping family members adjust as well. My brother has been a resident of Oak Pointe in Baltic since January. I am so grateful for the excellent care he has received and the tremendous improvement in his overall health and well-being since being there. The entire staff is professional, caring, kind, and absolutely has the best interests of their residents in mind. The facility is spotless, the atmosphere is friendly and the care team is always willing to help the residents adjust to being there as well as helping family members adjust as well. I highly recommend entrusting your loved one to the professional and caring staff at Oak Pointe Nursing home in Baltic. I am so glad that I have trusted them with my brothers care. It has been a wonderful experience at a time when we truly needed their help.
My mother has lived at Oak Point a year now and my father has since followed her there recently. They have done everything to make them both comfortable including being together in the same room. They have great personalized care and they stay in contact with me in regards to their health and well-being. I would recommend Oak Point nursing center to anyone with the need. They have a fantastic staff that are incredibly accommodating. Carri, the administrator, is kind and will do all in her power to make her residents comfortable. Definitely highly recommend!
I personally was a resident there for a very short stay. Place is not for any loved one or friend or coworker. I was hitting call light for well over 20 minutes and no staff members came to help me, so that when I started yelling for help and THEY as the staff members. Was yelling at me for even asking for help. Told me to calm down or they have me sedated. I am ashamed to even be giving this review but feel in the best interest of others this is no nursing home for your loved ones or those you care about. This place is a living hell.

All the staff were ready and willing to give me all the help I needed. My room was vary clean. The meals cover a wide variety of home cooking that anyone will find enjoyable
I have had 3 family member reside at this facility over the years. I have personally witnessed the love and tender affection each and every staff member had towards the residents. The facility called my family with every medication change every status change and even to yell us that my family member was having a good day and to let us know that they were doing well. The facility is clean, smells wonderful and looks like a home. The administration team is wonderful and I cannot say enough about them. I adore the staff and the caring atmosphere while we visit. It is so wonderful to rest every night and know that my family member is getting the care and attention they receive while I am there as well as when I am not. I trust this facility with the care of my loved ones and I would not recommend any other facility in the area, as I have visited and toured these facilities prior to placing my family member at Oak Pointe. If you want your family member to be loved and cared for as a family member I recommend this facility. There are not enough stars to show my appreciation.
Went there today for a site visit in regard to a possible 2 week respite for my father. Immediatly upon entering we noticed a specific "pong" that the establishment had. Upon further viewing of the facility we found that it was generally not well cleaned and the residents all seemed to be in bed for the most part. The atmosphere was generally depressing. Staff seemed very lackadasical. Admissions person was very "shy" and seemed a bit disinterested when taking us through the entire 15 minute tour. I was not impressed and would never let someone I love go there....not even for 2 weeks.
Went thete today for a tour for a 2 week respite for my father. Admissions person seemed very shy...did a very quick once through...staff were very lackadasical...almost every client was in bed...and the facility had a very specific pong to it. Rather depressing atmosphere. NO. Enough said
