We put my mom in here about 6 weeks ago, this place is the best. They have friendly & knowledgeable staff that takes great care of the residents. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in daily….my mom enjoys staying busy. I love that they have a Dr for her medical needs and physical therapy. It makes things very convenient for the family to not have to worry about transportation. I have been there many different times during the day and evening, the staff is always pleasant and seem to love what they do. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, definitely go…

I have held many conversations with most of the staff as well as the recreational staff. My mother’s needs have always been met by the staff and any concerns I have had about how she is doing has always been answered.
A relative has lived there for over a year now. The offer a variety of choices to use at additional cost but I found them useful...signing up for the doctor; the pharmacy, other personal private type plans. They have thought of everything a resident might need for their convenience and their family caregivers. The meals provided are good. They provide great daily activities and some weekly outings. The staff are pleasant, efficient, friendly and professional. When on vacation, I don't worry that my relative will not be taken care of. It was an excellent choice by myself and my loved one. If…

If you are a military veteran, a group was just started specifically for them to meet.

There is honestly a couple good people here but my great grandmother was passing & all they were worried about was having more money for the care she needed. I came in & she was covered head to toe in pee & of course I’m going to be upset when she has a uti & no one is changing her like she already was in enough pain from her cancer… not only that when I said something to them about it, they got an attitude with me and told me they don’t Provide that level of care.. then the big boss came in & said “unless you pay more money we can provide that care” And also after my grandma passed away, and we were all crying & one of the aids, left the room and started dancing to music that was playing in the hallway while we were all outside in the hallway, trying to grieve… & when I was on the phone I told my cousin & they are dancing because they don’t have to take care of her anymore & as the girls passed & heard me they laughed. I just feel like it all was a mess & things were not treated like they were suppose to. I even had to go to the cafeteria & ask for food for her because they said she denied it / wasn’t eating but she ate when I gave her food ??? Not a lot but she still ate some !!!!
I had to move my 94-year-old father into assisted living, but I live in Ohio and needed to do everything very quickly when his condition was deteriorating quickly. The staff made things go as smoothly as possible under the circumstances, and my dad seems to be very well cared for. The facility is lovely and I'm happy that my dad has ended up here at Our Home Fairborn. ---- Update: My dad passed away in December of 2024 after a long but expected decline. Again, the staff at Our Home was always caring and responsive. I highly recommend this facility to any family who needs someone to take care of an elderly family member.
I am totally satisfied with the care my Mom receives at Our Home Fairborn Ohio. My Mom is 94 and absolutely loves the staff and care she is provided with. If you have a love one that can not live alone or needs daily care please ask for a tour with Kim.
After a harrowing couple of years for my ill mother who passed July '23, my dad's safety, health, and quality of life took a sharp decline over the span of 8 months. He lost his wife of 54 years, and lost the desire to do anything including eating, good hygiene, and taking critical medications. He agreed to look into assisted living facilities and we wanted one that would be attentive, kind, and clean. After a long, disappointing quest of touring facilities, FAL welcomed my dad with loving, open arms. He absolutely LOVES the people, activities, and even the food! FAL has, indeed, added years to my dad's life, not to mention adding quality to his life. He is taking care of himself, he's gotten stronger with proper nutrition and OT/PT, and all hope has been given back to him and to our family. I would recommend FAL to anyone who is scared and lost in the overwhelming process of finding a suitable community for your loved one. Sarah, Amber, Ashley, Brittany, Amanda, Kelsey ... THANK YOU!
