We like it here! This is my Mom’s third facility outside of the hospital and it’s the first place when I asked if she liked it here and she said “it’s cool.” It is cool here from all the restaurants up the street to the friendly, down to earth nurses and aides it really is nice here. There is no strong urine stinch. If you smelled it once it won’t be like that tomorrow . The food is not that bad either. Could be worse. I can actually sit in my Mothers room comfortably now. Very chill. The residents have character too! An accepting atmosphere. There’s also a nice trail that is right off the…

Very chill. The residents have character too! An accepting atmosphere. There’s also a nice trail that is right off the parking lot. To be honest there aren’t enough nurses or aides but that’s everywhere unfortunately so if you can visit often do it. It always helps! There are good days and bad days. My mother receives her rehab/pt nearly everyday and she is doing well overall . Not declining .You can hear the other resident’s tv which makes it cozy too or you can close your door. Parkside has a carpeted and non carpeted side for the residents in the building. The carpeted side smells fine here in the Gardens. I’m comfortable enough I don’t want to end my visit :(
Our family had experience with Parkside Villa twice, with my dad staying there for about 100 days each time. Having dialysis onsite was incredibly helpful, allowing him to receive treatments without having to leave the premises. That convenience made such a difference for both his comfort and our family’s peace of mind during a difficult time. A special thank you to the amazing staff on the 300 floor, especially Sarah G, Kia, and Daisha, for the kindness, care, and support shown to my dad during his stays. We truly appreciated everything you did for him and our family. It was clear they truly…

A special thank you to the amazing staff on the 300 floor, especially Sarah G, Kia, and Daisha, for the kindness, care, and support shown to my dad during his stays. We truly appreciated everything you did for him and our family. It was clear they truly cared about the residents and worked hard to create a comforting environment. The dedication, hard work, and heart they put into what they do every day did not go unnoticed. During a difficult time, the staff treated my dad with kindness, patience, and dignity every single day. The nurses, aides, and team members went above and beyond to make sure not only the residents were cared for, but that families felt supported as well.
My 93 yr old mother went to Parkside for skilled rehab and will be transitioning to assisted living. The nursing, rehab, social worker and administrative staff have been exceptionally responsive and the cleanliness of the patient rooms and common areas is noteworthy. Dietary could be improved with more menu variety.
I loved my pt and it's. They're very professional and praise worthy.Karen Kathleen are.awesome therapists. They're very encouraging and pron̈ts me when I get discouraged.
Very nice ,the employees are nice
Visited a friend.
Rooms are clean, amenities are fine, but the staffing is a serious problem. Patients waiting an hour or more for restroom assistance is not “short staffed,” it’s unsafe. A few solid employees can’t make up for the ones who clearly shouldn’t be working in patient care.
I presently reside at Parkside Villa! The director of Nursing, Connie is amazing! She helps me a lot with any concerns I have! When I ask for her she responds quickly and takes care of it! So if you are looking for a place to go this is the place to be.
