My parents live at this assisted living facility. They moved in on March 2026. When Michele and a nurse did my parents evaluation, they assured me that an aid would always be available to assist her with getting to the bathroom. So untrue. My mom is in a wheelchair and broke her hip last year. She has a high risk of falling. No one comes at night when my mom pushes her button. The elevator went out last Sunday on8/30/2026. It is now 9/4/2026. I was there yesterday with no working elevator. My parents meals come late and cold. What if there was a fire? How many people would die without a…

A man fell in the hallway yesterday and no one around to help him up. House keeping is horrible too. There are bugs in my parents bathroom. If you care about your loved ones, don’t send them here!
Nursing staff if you want to get woken up in the middle of the night just to take your BP and then when they leave the room they slam the door no bed side manner. I had one nurse trying to shove Flonase in my nose which I was not prescribed. Food was not very good. Can’t think of anything positive to say other than it was A decent atmosphere during the day. PT was sketchy.
Our mother has been recovering from a stroke at this facility for approximately three weeks. She has received excellent care. Tina (Admissions) has been helpful, kind, professional, hospitable. She stops by just to check in with my mom and my sister several times a week when she is onsite. Courtney (Social Worker) always answers questions, has been diligent about keeping us abreast of mom’s progress. Chrissy (Concierge) always speaks when we pass each other in the hallway. Has answered any questions we’ve had. Ebenezer, who dispenses my mom’s medication when he’s onsite, understands and…

Audrea (CNA) is always kind towards my mother. She knows my mother well enough to know how she likes her bed made, how many pillows she likes and where to place them, and a myriad of other likes/dislikes. These a just a few of the people whose names I can remember because we see them almost daily. However, all of the aides, CNAs, PT/OT personnel have been great and treated me, my mother, and my sister with the utmost respect, care, and professionalism.
Top notch nursing staff! Greatest nurse in the Midwest? - his name is Ebenezer. Couldn't ask for better CNAs as well. Cashaunna, Cybyl, Michelle, - there are too many to name. And that tells one a lot about a facility. They hire like minded people who genuinely care. Glad I chose Riverview for my Rehab.
After my brother was discharged from the hospital, he was in need of a skilled nursing and rehab program, I visited 3 facilities. When I met with Tina, Riverview Health and Rehab Director, I was very impressed with her kindness and professionalism. She was very knowledgeable with their healthcare programs and services. In addition Tina addressed all of my questions and concerns regarding my brother’s care. The doctor’s nurses, therapists and aides at Riverview have all been very professional and caring with my brother. I would highly recommend Riverview Health and Rehab Center!
My husband was discharged from the hospital after a bad fall to Riverview Skilled Nursing Center for continued PT, OT & Speech Therapy. He has been under their competent & kind care for a month. He is progressing on his road to recovery. We are impressed with the cheerful atmosphere & excellent care he receives here at Riverview & are so glad we chose this facility for his rehab.
Riverview Health & Rehabilitation Center is an outstanding facility for both rehabilitation and long-term care. If you’re exploring options for a loved one, this is a place worth visiting. Stop in and speak with the Admissions Director, Tina, to learn more about the services, compassionate care, and support they provide to residents and families every day.
I want to thank the nursing staff and physical/occupational staff for taking very good care of me during my stay at this facility.
