My dad has a feeding tube. Was supposed to speech therapy to get his muscles in his stronger so the feeding tube could be removed. The hospital didn't send the order and nursing never followed up even after it was brought to their attention. Wasn't getting the appropriate physical therapy to get his legs stronger. Was left in the same clothes for 6 days. He soiled himself and sat in it for 2 hours etc. He's been in there for 3 or 4 weeks. How is he going to get better if things aren't done to get him better?

The building smells amazing and very clean, the residents seem happy and well cared for.

The place is always warm and welcoming. The residents are nice and the staff are nice and are always giving a helping hand 🥰

* Note: all the one-star reviews most often the only review ever written by the complainant. I cannot say enough about how thoroughly pleased I am with SSNR - both the facility and staff - and of how well the facility is run. First impressions from non-scheduled visit: no odor of any type; individuals with whom I came into contact were friendly and professional, wearing name tags clearly identifying their name and role. Residents appeared well taken care of, nobody slumped over in a wheelchair asleep in a corridor. Settled in: clean, organized rooms with like furnishings in good repair are visually appealing. Ditto the foyer. Also clean, updated, organized, warm and inviting. Dining room: clean, organized, walls are not dinged nor dented, furnishings match and are in good repair, each table having seasonal centerpiece, a large wall TV also available for residents. Therapy room: clean and organized. Activities area: roomy space for residents to gather and puzzle and/or participate in guided activities. Courtyard: large combo grassy and sidewalk area with a variety of seating options. Overall facility general areas: clean, kempt. It is not uncommon to see floors being mopped, handrails being sanitized... My person: ALWAYS clean, hair brushed, neatly dressed. Bed linens also always clean and bed made. Food: Impressive. LOTS of meals in rotation. MANY options for beverages at mealtime. Also 5-6 options for those who many not want what’s on the menu. "Daily Chronicle": delivered to each resident daily listing the day’s meals along with puzzles, “this day in history...". Staff: Impressive. Genuine care and compassion are readily observed. That each department (nursing, nutrition [kitchen], therapy, aides/STNA, admin, activities, housekeeping, laundry, “agency”) know, acknowledge, and engage personally with each of the residents is uplifting. I’ve yet to witness anyone “just hanging out” or with a “can’t help/not my area” attitude - including when attending to administrative responsibilities ("charting"). It is a very well-oiled machine, everyone willingly helping one-another. My only regret: not learning of SSNR sooner and having a vastly different experience elsewhere lending appreciation for this staff and facility.

I wish i could put 0 stars! This is the worst place ever. Don’t send anyone here ever please! The floors are dirty. The rooms are small. The staff does not care … half the time you can’t find anyone to ask or address an issue. Attaching a string to a call light .. like are you serious .. I could go on & on about how horrible this place is ….. very sad

I wish I could give 0 stars & that i would've read all the reviews before I agreed to place my mama here. She was sick with stage 4 cancer & I was having surgery requiring me to be on bedrest for a couple weeks so she needed somewhere to stay & have help. The social worker told me there was no other place open & it would be too much paperwork & time to transfer my mom closer to me so we reluctantly agreed to try this place. During the time my mom was in this hell she suffered tremendously. Several calls to me writhing in pain but not getting her meds appropriately, sharing adjoining bathroom with literally everyone & that place was dirty to put it nicely (i will post pictures of conditions I found my mom in when i returned to remove her.) Despite having a safe plan w/Hospice of the valley near me & a waiting bed at a facility that actually follows medical standards of care, I was met with resistance in moving my mom home to transition. They tried to brick wall me despite being notified days ahead of time of her move... with God & good healthcare workers that actually care about their patients, i was able to get her out...AFTER 2 DAYS of waiting there, lots of calls to my local Hospice, & them sending angel carriers to bring me enough ovygen to get her home. I will also say with immense sadness that when I got there to remove my mom she had a complete organ prolapse. Literally her organs were hanging out of her. She was in extreme pain & suffering horribly. I begged her to use her last little bit of strength to help me get her out of there because if she stayed nobody would ever know what they did to her. She only survived 5 days after I moved her bc her condition had deteriorated immensely in the couple weeks she was there but I know that the last 5 days of her life were mostly comfortable, she knew she was safe, loved, & being treated with dignity & respect. I strongly caution anyone considering sending someone u love here to PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! If u investigate this place my mom isnt the only patient who suffered neglect & abuse here. It needs shut down. Pics following the review are from the day I removed her from this facility. The bag of soiled pull up & socks was packed in with her stuff along with those nasty combs. This is only part of the abuse & neglect happening here.

The staff here are amazing!
