My stay has been a very pleasant one. Everyone has been super nice! I would recommend this facility to anyone.
My wife had a great stay. Everybody was very nice to us and the care was great. Even the food was good. The team helped to improve my wife's physical abilities greatly. We can't say enough good things about Smithville Western!
I have had a good stay here. Eliza is the best nurse I've ever had.
Nursing staff and aides are attentive. The facility and rooms tend to be dirty, and one room had large flakes of paint off the wall. The door to the bathroom was rubbing on the floor so a patient might have to put their shoulder to the door to open it. The beds were out of date and really didnt look very comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures were pitted and dirty. Just observations I made when I had a parent there.
Stopped in to tour for a loved one and was very happy with the amount of information they shared with me! Management staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. I will be keeping them in mind for future nursing home needs!
I am very happy with the friendly, prompt care and staff. The staff always makes me feel well cared for and loved with their kind and personable interactions. They are also very helpful when I have any questions. I am very thankful for Smithville Western Care Center for helping me and going above and beyond!
This place needs some major improvements-starting with the administrator-he does not follow through with anything as promised and has been dismissive of our concerns about lack of activities. Building is very outdated. However the care staff has been great! kitchen staff and housekeeping are very friendly and helpful as well.
The biggest problem at this facility is the administrator Robert Childs. I have never encountered a "professional" with such poor communications skills and lack of interest in patient family concerns. His cavalier and pompous attitude is not a good look !
