Honestly this place used to be wonderful. But over the last year and a half everything has changed. Aides that used to be so full of smiles look so depressed and miserable. Staff who have spent years with them are leaving left and right. Management doesn't help them at all. Does not have their backs and hangs them out to dry on a clothes line made of barbed wire. They are extremely over worked as is and then to be treated like they mean nothing while dedicating themselves to loves ones who need them is so sad. Its very discouraging to witness the way these people in higher positions treat…
Its very discouraging to witness the way these people in higher positions treat their staff and talk down to them. Eventually they will have no one working there and thats scary for our loved ones especially since most of the staff is wonderful and loving and adore their patients. Ive heard some very negative ways the manager speaks to them its embarrassing and unprofessional I really hope for the patients sake there's a turn around in the right department soon and st augustine manor becomes a pleasant place for everyone again.
I love St Augustine's. I have family members there and they are very well cared for. The facility is always clean and any incidents minor or major are always handled with expertise.
My mother has lived in the assisted living almost 4 years. She loves it here! All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better place for her to live and have the assistance that have needs.
I would like to personally thank the staff and volunteers at St. Augustine Health Campus for making my brother feel so supported and respected during his 3-year stay at your facility. ALS is a cruel disease and as my brother declined in his ability to do everyday tasks the folks at St. Augustine were there to help and coordinate activities relative to his limited mobility! He was actively engaged in encouraging discussions and shown love and empathy throughout his entire journey. After his passing I was so impressed that residents and personnel were in attendance at his funeral and said wonderful things about him. It is apparent that the personnel at St. Augustine Health Campus are committed special people that have a compassion and love of their work,…job well done!!
My father has been living at St. Augustine Towers Assisted Living for almost nine years. I don't live in town and have found this place to be such a blessing. My Dad has been so happy here. The care is wonderful because the staff are friendly, pleasant and want to be there. This reflects on the residents. The facility is always clean and never lacks a friendly, smiling face either from an employee or a resident. I can't say enough good things about this place. Truly blessed and grateful to have found it.
If you have a loved one that can not do or talk for themselves this is not a good place for them.
The receptionist Carmen Delgado is very rude. I was visiting my mother and the receptionist was rude to a young man that came to visit. There been other times. I seen her behavior like this. She can be better.
My brother in law had been placed at another facility that was absolutely atrocious. I reached out to St. Augustine to see if we could get him transferred. The Intake Coordinator was fantastic and as soon as she received all of his paperwork, we were able to get him transferred so that he ca start getting the care and therapy he needed. My brother in law is happy, the staff have been great to him and provide him everything he needs. A big shout out to Nurse Supervisor Cheri who always checks in on him and makes sure he is ok. He participates in physical and occupational therapy and attends the various activities they provide. Thank you!
