This place really sucks! The kitchen staff, totally incompetent and can't read English. You are not offered a menu choice, they just give you whatever they want you to eat. They promised changes but they haven't delivered. Can't believe they sat there and lied to us! The morning aide Cindy, 40+ year employee, totally lazy! Will not get my mom's breakfast tray by 8:00 a.m. so she has time to eat and finish getting ready to go to dialysis, the three days a week she goes! Totally disgusted with the laziness and incompetence of the staff here if I haven't mentioned it already. It is so…

Such a disgrace for a place that is supposed to take care of the elderly.
Terrible place for a loved one to stay. Meals are very little and not good house keeping is treablle and very under staffed.
My daughter’s father in law was there for a month…they finally took him to a cleaner more caring place. He was in the memory care the first thing you smell is urine the whole unit smells horrible..and if you want ice there is no ice machine that the health department would approve of, they have a nasty igloo cooler that they dip the ice out of..I really can’t believe they pass Stark county health rules. Looking at the residents is so sad..a new company took it over..the old St. Luke’s doesn’t exist. And the new owners should be ashamed.
I am extremely disappointed with the care and conditions at this nursing home. The environment was disgusting — there were ants all over the room, which is completely unacceptable for a healthcare facility. On multiple occasions, I had to repeatedly ask the nursing staff for medications to be given on time. When I asked about medications, Barb rolled her eyes, sighed, and said, “I can’t keep up with this!” Her attitude was very rude and unprofessional, especially toward someone depending on proper care and compassion. When I requested to speak with administration about these concerns, they failed to come out and speak with me. I waited over 30 minutes, and no one ever came out of the office to address the situation. That level of disregard and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Residents deserve a clean environment and respectful, attentive care. Unfortunately, this facility failed badly in both areas.
Please for the love of God, do not put your loved ones here. My grandmother has been here for a few months and every time I go here, the residents are out in the hallways; hunched over completely in wheelchairs, almost looking as if they’re about to fall out of them. I came last time to visit my grandmother and there was a man naked from the waist down in the hallway, a blanket barely covering his genitalia. Where is your decency with your patient and respect for their privacy? My grandmother’s things have been stolen. We bought her socks and underwear less than 2 months ago, and they’re all gone. They could care less. All they care about is money, not your loved ones. I see how they treat them when you’re not there.
Our caring staff treat every resident like family, honoring their dignity, comfort, and individuality every single day.
My mom was in there for hospice. The nurse aides spend most of their time sitting at nurses station on their phones.
I’ve worked in healthcare for over 10 years and currently work for a hospice company, and I can confidently say that St. Luke’s is one of the best nursing facilities I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with. Their management team is exceptional—responsive, organized, and truly committed to high-quality care. The floor staff goes above and beyond every day, treating residents with compassion, respect, and genuine kindness. Their admissions process is smooth, clear, and extremely helpful for families navigating difficult transitions. And their social workers are outstanding. They communicate well, support families through every step, and always advocate for the residents. St. Luke’s consistently takes incredible care of our hospice patients, and it shows in every interaction. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place that truly does things the right way
