I would not place your parents/ family in this situation. This is not a place where you want your loved ones. Not enough staff for the patients food is terrible. I wish we had knew this a year ago. We lost our dad at this place because they put a mental person in the same room with our dad never heard from the company for the lost that we had. What a terrible place.
Medicate license was pulled and all residents were placed in a sister facility. All employees have been laid off or fired or quit. Poor miss management doomed this place. Sad
Nursing Facilities that do rounds every 2 hours on units have a tendency not to provide urgent care on other units. Examples team has done rounds on dad and moms unit and moved on to another unit. Dad or moms has an urgent need to be toilet. Who wants to poop in their clothes, when no one available. At least one stna, cna, should be let unit to help in tolieting, pain medication, empty overflowing urine bags, etc. you would think. No one should ever be told staff out doing rounds. Hoyer Lyfts requires 2 staff members. A family member was left on the bed turn to their side with no rails up and…

My mother had trouble breathing, she alerted one of the nursing staff ,and was told she was too busy she had other patients to attend
Nice facility but don't be decieved. My beautiful mother may she rest in peace was treated terrible because of her mental state as a result of dementia. The staff didn't even have the decency to alert me that her end of life stage had begun. I understand that shortages in staff are occurring globally in all nursing homes but being transparent about the care you couldn't provide could have saved lives. Nursing homes are all about the money they can get, they could care less about your loved ones .
Its been almost 3 yrs since my uncle passed. But while he was alive these nurses and this facility took extra good care of him they were wonderful i couldnt have asked for better people who love their jobs and thier people. Thank You so much from the Pagan family my uncle was happy there.
Highly highly unsafe to work or live there.
The turnover in staff there is insane! They've had several different administrators in just the past few years. They are so short-staffed that, prior to visitations being banned due to the pandemic, I've had several people visit my loved one there. There was literally no nurses or other staff members in the memory care unit (a locked unit). They weren't in other rooms and responded to no calls, call outs; visitors walked the circle even calling staff as if it were an emergency. On a few visit, a nurse entered the unit while the visitor was there and had no clue that they were even present. Their records are not kept current and you have to watch how they keep your loved one's money on record yourself. I also found out that right after I moved out of state that the facility lied to me about transporting my father to his nephrologist and neurologist for appointments. They provided me with false reports of him doing well during transports and visits when in all actuality, he hadn't seen either in over 3 years!!! The Drs. received lab reports from the facility and the dialysis center. However, the facility either cancelled appts scheduled or said they would reschedule and never did. It was only after I called them out on it that they somewhat attempted to correct the situation. I have been repeatedly lied to about who was transporting my loved one to dialysis and back. They kept switching companies and then claimed that they had their vans fixed and were doing the transporting themselves at one point. I found out that they had gone back to the very company that left my loved one at the dialysis once for hours with no phone call or follow up. They also decided once not to even come and get him to take him for treatment, with no prior call, apology, or rescheduling. My loved one has been discouraged from walking (and he could do just fine) and made to sit and scoot in a wheelchair. He can still walk, but now it's not as well as it was when I first moved him in. As his memory is now essentially gone, the level of care that he receives is getting worse. Due to the pandemic, the nurse from new facility can't even go in to do an initial evaluation. So, I can't move him until the ban on visitations in nursing homes is lifted. Keep Your Loved Ones AWAY from there, if you love them...
