4.7 · 67 reviewsWas checking several different places, and my experience with Dara at Abbewood was by far the best. She answered all my questions, gave me a tour of the facilities, and gave me ideas for resources I hadn’t even thought about. The nurse, Kathy, that came out to assess my Dad was great, and he had nothing but good things to say of the experience. I can’t recommend them enough, and feel that my Dad will be in great hands.
My sister with lung & brain cancers resides here. Nice-sized pond in front of building. She enjoys feeding the Canadian Geese ❤️
Friendly staff- great food and we feel very welcomed here. Management and staff are very kind and courteous and genuine in their concern for meeting the needs of the resident. The atmosphere is enjoyable to visit family and friends, and also a clean environment. The flower boxes in the garden areas are an added benefit to create a nice place to hang out, and the fish pond adds a nice touch.

I visit a member of my church here and have enjoyed several meals and programs with them. The residents seem very happy and there is a nice sense of community. The staff is caring and attentive.
We have two relatives in the Abbewood. The staff are all very nice. There are many activities available if interested. It is comforting to know the staff are checking on them and there to help if needed especially when we are unavailable.
The staff is very friendly and interact with the residents. My mom and dad just love it there staff knows them by name. It’s such a positive environment and we feel comfortable that my parents have such a safe and personal place to live and interact with other seniors.
What a wonderfully enjoyable time. The activities put together by the staff are top notch.
