We truly appreciate the effort you put into the events for the residents. My mom really enjoys playing Bingo. Michael does an outstanding job with the community Bingo nights for the residents and outside guests. Again thank you for all you do.
Great Staff!
My dad was admitted for respite care. And even with him being a handful . The staff has been amazing even came and picked up some the things he needed a special thank you to nursing assistants Danielle and Jessika for going the extra mile to help my dad. Mr (Pman) W…. Family appreciates its. These ladies deserve honored for the extra caring they give I’m sure not only to my dad but many others guests of the laurels of Steubenville
Michael very nice. It feels like a nice place to visit.
Great facility with a competent staff for the two week skilled care rehabilitation program my husband completed in December! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! He thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the therapy.
My Mom has been in this facility since 10/2023. The activities and certain aides are the ONLY reason I gave it a 2 star. My Mom is alert and oriented and they don't like when she reports a problem. They call her the hall monitor and smirk about it rather than fixing the problem. This place is THEIR HOME, if you have rules then they should be enforced to ALL of the rooms. If YOU lived in a HOA neighborhood and was told over and over you can't have this you can't do this but then you drive down the road and see your neighbors doing what you were but you got told about it. The issue will be pushed until fixed. Get these so called employees that check rooms out of the Office and on the floors EVERYDAY, NOT once a week. Is laundry being done, are showers being done, due to lack of towels and wash cloths these residents that pay over 4,000 a month to dry off with a pillow case or a cut up blanket, is ice being passed, these residents don't have their own freezrs to just get ice from. Other residents rely on employees to care for their unfortunate colostomy bags and when one of them says I don't know how to do that and leaves the room. My Mom don't deserve to be treated like a NARC, you need to do your job that these residents are paying for. And I should not have to keep up with her health issues and meds cause the Physicians there can't even put her on a proper antibiotic. And I give up asking cause I always get "I don't know" Well obviously owners response is automatically inserted cause you did not read the review. She has made concerns and never get addressed. Just called names. I don't need to call anybody
So, I’ve never been in a nursing home facility until my aunt was sent to the Laurels. I just wanted to say, I’ve watched the staff run around in frenzies just to make sure they are caring for everyone. I’ve watched their only be one nurse working and still with a smile on their face and patience in their heart, they care and they work hard to make sure my aunt and everyone is taken care of. The facility smells clean and is bright when I walk into the main lobby. I would just say thank you to the staff for their compassion and hard work.
I have utilized nursing homes for my parents and in-laws. The laurels offers a friendly and in inviting atmosphere to both visitors and residents. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have spoken to some of the residents and they claim it's not home but it's the next best thing. They have many activities and the food is very good. The laurels is also committed to the community offering breakfast and bingo once per month as well as other activities including halloween trunk and treats, a ice cream social and carnival cookout to name a few. I am extremely impressed with them and highly recommend this facility.
