I came here after surgery. Everyone has been so friendly. Therapy team works you hard, but it's good for you. Nursing staff was kind and caring. Admission process was smooth and easy. Communication was excellent and I felt very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to others.
Marion Meadows is the place for love ones, clean, director of nursing is superior, food excellent, spacious rooms, all the staff was so caring, enjoyed taking care of my 92 year old mom. Please consider this place .
Newly built nursing home. Very nice on the inside. Visited a friend from work who is in there for long term recovery from a motorcycle accident. He is in a room by himself. The staff seemed friendly and accommodating during my visit. They let him bring a mini refrigerator to his room. My only thing after talking to him would be the addition of several microwaves throughout the facility.
So where do I start. I.was there 2 weeks for rehab due to back surgery. So where do I start ******? My bed was never made or changed. There were no towels or wash cloth left in bathroom. No housekeeping at all.. Medicine cups under bed,.food.on.floor.for.days I cleaned it.up myself. Trash cans over flowing. I.finall .pulled bags and threw in hallway Was incontinent urine once the aide picked them up just threw them in closet and not.in a bag Day shift staff is very good...Now night shift is worthless. Ya can't find them they come in turn call light off say I'll tell the nurse. After back surgery ya need your pain meds . I've waited up to 4 hours I even walked up to nurses station to get pain pill 4 nurses sitting on their butt's. The reply was I'll bring ya one. No I'm here just give it to me reply was I can't right now I'm busy. Now this is night shift and 4 nurses sitting on their butt's. At one point I had wait 14 hours for pain pill . There reason was they didn't have any for ME !!!!! Then pull from emergency box. Reply we have call pharmacy to get number. Omg. What they didn't know was I am retired nurse and know the ins and out of.thing. once again keep in mind I had wait 14 hours DAY shift took care of.it.. . Food service is whole another monster of its own. If you do not like what is for.that meal, they have substitutes. All got to do is fill out substitute cards turn them in. Like that really works NOT AT ALL.. PHYSICAL THERAPIST'S were outstanding . They were able to get my legs to work again I thank them so much All I can say is I wouldn't put my parent there if they truly needed assistance of.any kind. It's a very beautiful building. But beautiful building doesn't provide care nursing or personal care. Things really need to change there. Idk if.its people being hired , .lack of training,or no oversight of staff. Especially nursing . Whatever it is sure needs looked into asap . I feel sorry for the people living there that needs total and/or can't voice their needs Don't let beautiful building and some smiling faces fool you. For thinks are not.as they seem. Be aware
Just visiting. Nice home.
This nursing facility has been an absolute blessing for our family. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, creating such a comforting environment for residents and visitors alike. What truly stands out, though, is the incredible staff. Every team member we’ve encountered has been hardworking, patient, compassionate, and genuinely caring. They treat residents with dignity and kindness, and it’s clear they put their hearts into what they do every day. Knowing our mother-in-law is in such capable and caring hands gives us great peace of mind. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and professionalism of everyone here. Highly recommend!
From the moment you walk into the facility, it feels bright, welcoming, and clean, and that atmosphere is carried throughout the entire building. The staff consistently go above and beyond for the residents while maintaining great communication with families. I highly recommend checking this facility out for both skilled nursing and long-term care services.
The Meadows of Marion is a great place. The staff is kind and really takes the time to care for the residents. It’s clean, welcoming, and you can tell people genuinely care about what they do. I’d definitely recommend it.
