4.4 · 24 reviewsI have moved into The Northridge. They have helped me out. From day one, they have stuck with me. It's a great facility. Great people. They help with the transition. They helped with my move, and they made sure that I had an understanding of everything that was going on and what would be going on. They provide food for us. It comes off a menu, so you can have whatever you want. They also have someone every day coming in to clean and maintain our apartments. They are friendly and inviting. They make me feel comfortable. You get more than your money's worth here.
The price is right for the services received. I have been here for one full year and am sure l made the best choice. Apartments are ample size with a walk in closet and a double closet in the bedroom. Handheld showers, security bars and towel bars in the bathroom are secured safely. There is a light cleaning provided every other week. The staff has always been kind and helpful. A continental breakfast is served five days a week as well as dinner each evening. Weekend dinners are provided on Friday night to be taken to your apartment where you can reheat it. Overall I'm very happy with my…

My mother-in-law loves the meals and the dining experience. We like the staff very much as well. Everyone there is very kind and helpful.

This has been the perfect place for our senior family member. The perfect blend of Independence and just enough support to know he's taken care of. The food in the dining room is truly wonderful. Our very underweight family member has gained 30 pounds! The staff is so friendly. I truly give Northridge Apartments a five-star thumbs up!
My parents are moving into The Northridge. We put down a downpayment. It's very clean. My mother is very picky about cleanliness and she immediately commented on how clean it was. The apartments are very homey. It's more like a home than a facility feel to the place. The cafeteria looks like a restaurant; it is beautiful. They have an outside seating area and a concrete patio with lots of seating and shade. There are lots of flowers. Everything seems homey. People are friendly. Overall, there's a very nice feel to it. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She's been very accommodating.
I toured The Northridge. They were very welcoming. The place was very attractive. It's very clean. It has a lot of amenities. The grounds are beautiful and so are the apartments. The one I'm moving into is freshly painted, has new wall carpeting, has a full kitchen, and two big working closets, and I can have my dogs there. The staff was fine. They're very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The community was spacious and very well-appointed.
Most of these reviews are older. New management has taken over and it has changed alot. Biggest change is the dining services. They do not cook meals on the weekends, they provide packaged meals on Friday, to last the weekend. Typically a sandwich , soup, and small entree. Starting Feb, no breakfast either. Also you do not get to pick a meal, you get what you get. I guess they figure its Independant living, so you can make your own. Typically no staff around after 5pm or weekends, so if you're looking for security, they only have cameras. They provide call buttons, but tell them not to wear them at night, because they are too sensitive. You have to put your trash in laundry room, sits over weekend. I suppose they are trying to move to a totally independent facility? It used to be how they advertise themselves, a luxury retirement community...Umm not so much anymore. The rent is reasonable, you get what you pay for. The lobby and dining area are nice, rooms are outdated
Having mom move into Northridge Senior apartments was a great decision. Everyone there has been welcoming and helpful. Mom says the meals in the evening are wonderful. The grounds and building common areas are kept neat and tidy. Management has been helpful with any questions we've had. Their van driver that takes the residents to the grocery store and library is retiring at the end of the month. Let's hope they can find a replacement for him.
