Wonderful staff, caring employees in maintenance, dining room, activities, and care givers and nurses, in concierge, and exercise. Food is excellent. Executive Director, sales Director, Maintenance Director, Chef, Life Enrichment Director and Nursing Director and Staff are all outstanding. Concierge representatives present a great first impression of the Patterson and a continuing excellent level of service. Apartments and common areas are roomy and cheerful. The residence is overall exemplary. O
My mother spent her last 18 months at The Patterson and my only regret is that she didn’t move here sooner. She wasn’t just cared for - she was genuinely cared about. The staff got to know her personally, took time to connect with her in ways that went well beyond their responsibilities, and when mom passed, they mourned with us. She was surrounded by kindness, comfort, and real human connections and I couldn’t recommend this place any more than I already do. Thank you Patterson staff for your amazing care and love!
We are extremely pleased with the Patterson for our parents. Clinical staff and aides are attentive to their needs and the facility offers a wide array of services. The Director and Management Team are always working to make improvements, and routinely collaborate with us on our parents needs as they change. Food is great and the culinary team is friendly to residents and family.
In my opinion, too much "agency" help. Too many "not permanent" care givers. New ones frequently so continuity is difficult.
As for comments, when the current owners purchased the facility, they did not honor any of the contracts and agreements from the previous owners. It has been an unbelievably horrible experience with the new management. I would not wish anybody going there to have to go through this.
I picked up here as a nurse snd have several concerns. First as a memory unit no nurse should identify patients that are not alert and oriented by a clip on name badge that are easily picked up by others. Second upon trying to administer medication I noticed almost every single resident had missing medication that had been missing for a longer period than waiting for a refill to be delivered. I asked the aides for help identifying residents and they chose to eat their own breakfast in the resident dining area while scrolling on their phones. I voiced my concern to admin and was originally offered help then told they were going to morning meeting. After over an hour a lady walks up says that she’s there to relieve me, we count the cart and when I go to clock out the facility had already clocked me out for over an hour prior! I was placed on a DNR list for bringing to their attention some serious legitimate concerns. This is the worst facility I have worked at as a local travel nurse. I’ve been to some rough places but this place has serious SAFETY issues that need to be addressed immediately.
Big kudos to Julie Croucher and her staff!!! Our sister is a patient in memory care and experienced several medical set backs over the past three months. Julie and her staff were always there to ensure the multiple transitions from memory care to hospital to rehab to memory care were handled smoothly and in the best interests of our sister. Julie was always prompt and responsive to numerous questions and unusual circumstances. Having closely observed Julie and her staff for over ten months, it is clear that they treat every patient with the same level of care and attention that our sister experienced. Again well done to Julie.
Julia, the DON, is the most dedicated worker I’ve ever met. She works 14+ hours a day and goes home to work even more. The residents light up when they see her because they know she genuinely cares. It’s a great place to be because of her.
