Minutes later my phone would ring, and either Jacob (great guy!) or Terry (extraordinary!) would be calling to say that they have a missed call from my number. The real strength of this community are the people that work the front desk. Although they have a variety of responsibilities, they truly care about the residents more than anything else. More than once I had called the facility because I couldn't get an answer from my mom in her room, and hung up without leaving a message. Minutes later my phone would ring, and either Jacob (great guy!) or Terry (extraordinary!) would be calling to say that they have a missed call from my number. I had even called to ask Terry if she could locate my mom for me, and she would physically get up and go find her in the great room or dining room. Ada that works the desk on the weekend always greets you with a pleasant smile. I cannot say enough good things about this staff. They really are the face of the place! I recently moved my mom out and to a complex 6 minutes from my home. Overall her experience was better than most, as she was elected to represent the current and prospective residents as the Resident Ambassador for the facility. She will be missed there, but I know she will miss Terry the most. Thanks to everyone at The Waterford at Fairfield for making my mom feel at home.
The food is NOT good, management doesn't respond to service, no one knows anything. Especially people sitting at front desk. Have tried to find out about carpet cleaning and no has answered for months. Just a simple question. Need better food and service.
Whaterford has the best food that I’ve ever had an independent living center and the people are super friendly

I loved the tour. The facility is beautiful, and the staff and residents were friendly. Julie and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. They gave me lots of information to share with my mom who is preparing to move to Cincinnati. The location is great.
Mike, the head of maintenance is without a doubt one of the most dedicated and most informed about all issues. He is always available if there is a problem. I feel very blessed to have him in his position.
My mother was a resident of the Waterford and she absolutely loved everything about it. From the friendly staff to the amazing residents, great activities, excellent food and vibrant atmosphere, the Waterford provides an unmatched place to call home. However, the true value of this amazing place was not known to me until I unfortunately lost my mother. Traveling back from out of town to settle her affairs was difficult and I do not have a large family support system in the city anymore. The staff at the Waterford allowed me to stay on site in an apartment free of charge that was pre-furbished and even had drinks and snacks waiting for me. They gave me free meals and helped me wherever they could taking out trash or carrying pieces of furniture. The kindness that I was shown is not something I will forget for the rest of my life. I literally don't know what I would have done without them in what was already such a tough time for me. This is a place of love, family, and care unlike anything you've seen before. Thank you again for all you did for me and how much you made my mom's life so wonderful!
Staff is truly concerned for all residents. They seek input from residents on a variety of topics. Something for everyone to do from chair exercise to bingo to corn hole! There is a true sense of community here. The apartments vary in size. I have a 2bed, 2bath. There are 1 bd, 1bath. Sone kitchens are very small and some bigger. I think a person must see availability while on a tour. Sizes to fit your needs.
Highly recommend for independent senior living.
