Woodside Village Care Center

They were very nice, my stay here was very very good!!

This is our firsthand review of Woodside in Mt Gilead, Oh : Our loved one has been in this place for over a year now, & receives inadequate care, nutrition, bathing, etc. Days w/out showers, days in the same clothes, feces caked under our loved ones nails & on bed sheets, hair stench is awful & on & on. Toilet is always stopped up ! Reeks to say the least. Every time we request information, this person or that person is on vacation or unavailable. They act secretive about information. This is OUR family member ! We are very unhappy & plan on moving our loved one out of this facilty, of which it’s the only one in the whole county.

My Dad spent time in this facility over the years, really liked the employees! Let me start by saying admin Does NOT communicate amongst their corporation and the facility lawyers. When questioned, facility directed me to their personal lawyer who did not return call after message was left, then denied receiving a call from me. Facility and corporation gives the run around and denies knowing anything about any agreements made. Very unprofessional and I’m sorry for the lovely staff that gets the brunt end of their choice of action. Poor review.

So there are a few caring ppl at Woodside. The good ppl are overworked. There is no way the current staff can properly care for each individual. My mother who has Stage 7 Alzheimer’s is left in the same clothes for many days. She goes a wk w/out a shower or hair washed. Her tennis shoes & pants reek of urine. Wheelchairs are left right at her door & she bangs her legs on them & so do I. The whole place reeks of urine & feces ! The food is cold & awful! The only “outside” residents get is the cigarette smokers get to go outside regularly but others are left indoors breathing the stench! This place is shameful to say the least!

Physical therapy dept is so kind n friendly!
