The staff is extremely rude and unfriendly. They cannot say “hello” or greet people who don’t fit their prejudice criteria of what they want you to look like. They treat you like an animal and have 0 respect for certain people. They have 0 manners and can’t even be polite to people who are helping them with things that they requested. Especially the blonde manager with the big office, completely rude and nasty person. The receptionist, who has the job of greeting people when they walk in the door, refuses to do that and won’t even respond if you greet her.

Wow! Just wow! We were so grateful that dad was accepted by worthington Christian village for dad’s rehab after he broke his hip. At 93 he has many challenges, but we were so impressed with the nursing staff and their clinical partners, the aides, the dietary staff, the physical therapy staff, the activities staff and the social work staff who helped him every minute of every day to help him recover. They didn’t just do the basics ( like many places do) they often went extraordinarily out of their way to find a solution to dad’s situation or to make sure he was comfortable. And every single…

Wow! Just wow! We were so grateful that dad was accepted by worthington Christian village for dad’s rehab after he broke his hip. They didn’t just do the basics ( like many places do) they often went extraordinarily out of their way to find a solution to dad’s situation or to make sure he was comfortable. And every single person working there clearly loves their job and enjoys working with the residents. WCV is a true gem. Highly recommend.

Beautiful 😍 🤩 Palce.

When mom turned 100, we told her it was time to give up the house and be closer to her children. (To show mom's thoughts, she had repeatedly said "Put a bullet in my head before you put me in a home. I mean it!") We convinced her to give Worthington Christian Village a two-month trial. It has been fantastic. From first contact, everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful. If you have been close to someone in a facility, you know that it is the people who make the difference. The people are amazing. Mom has been there 9 months now and has not asked to go anywhere else. In a typical week, she plays bingo twice, attends 3 exercise classes, plays cards (bridge), and usually does one other activity. There are a lot of outings and activities that mom could do if she wanted. The building is not new, but very well maintained. We have yet to put in a maintenance request before 3pm that was not addressed the same day. The food has been great when I have eaten there. I just can't say enough good things about WCV. When I first toured WCV, I asked as many residents as I could what they thought. There was unanimous praise. I think it is just a case of really good people doing really good work (great volunteers, too!)

Was looking for a place for my Mom to do rehab after a hospital stay. Visited a handful of places and this was on the top of our list. They were able to get her in right away thankfully. I really can't say enough about the staff. They were amazing and she had a full recovery. She couldn't have done it without them. Our whole family is so grateful for every single employee there. You should all be proud of the great work you do. Thank you!!!!!

Worthington Christian Village wasn't quite as up to date. I could tell some of the furniture and the décor was a little older, and the apartments were smaller. It was less expensive, which was very attractive to us. They got nice beautiful grounds. It is a Christian-like atmosphere because it's tied to Worthington Christian Church (where many of the parishioners volunteer). When I was talking to some of the residents, they really appreciated the volunteers coming in. There was a very good atmosphere. As far as the look of the building, the upkeep, and the furniture and things, it was just a little less.

WCV has been home to Mom and Dad for about 5 years. Most important to me is the fact they are safe. They are surrounded by friends. The are as busy as they elect to be. They have never had negative words regarding their decision to live here. I believe they are treasured by neighbors and staff. What more could I ask for?

My husband Chris and I moved into a cottage in The Colony at Worthington Christian Village in 2007. Some of the happiest years of our married life were spent there. The office staff always aimed to please and the maintenance crew was outstanding. Planned activities kept us as busy as we wanted to be and provided a wonderful way to socialize with friends and neighbors. I would still be there if I hadn’t lost my love in 2013, causing me to realize it made sense to move near one of my children who were all more than 600 miles away. I left in 2014 and now, going on 7 years later, I miss Worthington Christian Village and treasure memories of my time there.
