..could not ask for better management...DON Elizabeth is the best she's very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from her..she is always there for the staff and for the residents....and 3rd shift nurse Malinda she is so sweet with the residents she takes her time with each of them and really gets to know them... There is a lot of great people that work there I am grateful for the time .
My mother has been a resident at Altercare Bucyrus for the past 9 months. I have no complaints.The care she has received from every department has exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to acknowledge the aides and nurses who work on Speret Hall. The patience, kindness, and compassion you display to the residents and their families does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

The staff is amazing. My father suffered a massive stroke and we took him there for care during his final few days. The staff was caring, kind, and prompt with his care. The team was attentive to my father and to our family. Couldn’t have asked for better care.
building was fine but employees weren't the friendliest
They were great helping me recover .
Rooms are left dirty. Residents are left sitting in soild pants. Staff is horrible. Patients are left suffering. If you love your family member, dont send them here. If I could rate negative stars, I would.
We can't say enough for all of the care that has been provided our family members while they have been at Altercare! All of the nursing staff are very attentive and caring. The STNAs are amazing! They are so caring and go above and beyond with their patients! The attention given is top notch! They know each and every one of their patients well and know how to redirect and handle each situation in a respectful and appropriate manner. Dr. Becky Strickland has been amazing. She provides exceptional oversight and is always willing to meet with family upon requests. I appreciate her communication style in dealing with patients and families. The support staff is always friendly and helpful when requests are made and will address issues/challenges that come up with respect and a smile! The Director is very caring, kind and courteous. She has been so helpful and willing to spend time with clients until all questions are answered. Thanks to all for your kindness and care....you all are AMAZING! Krista Gerhart
