4.0 · 108 reviewsI've been here 4 weeks and I have nothing bad to say. The entire staff is very polite and do anything they can to make your stay comfortable. Fantastic job everyone 👏
It is ok for a short term care which I have but then I went back for long term care, they do everything they can to make sure you stay. Adjusting meds to make you bedridden so you cant leave. They have well water which has salt in it and there suppose to only give filtered water but some aids dont. You gain wait and they won't adjust your water pill then they had me drink 10 cups of water. They knew what they were doing there's other stuff but I dont know how long I can type.
My wife just spent 3 weeks at Altercare, Navarre for therapy on her knee. I want to thank everyone there for the excellent care given. I wish I could remember the names of all the people that were so kind to my wife. Nurses, Therapists, Aides&Office staff. I've visited other nursing facilities&none could compare with Altercare for cleanliness&wonderful staff. A big thank you to John "Smitty" Smith for all his kindness&patience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Go there for rehab and leave in a casket
This place is absolutely horrible. They have mold, they leave patients sitting for +7 hours in their own urine and feces. Workers walk in and ask what do you want when you have your call light on. The workers are not nice, do not do their job properly, etc. I wouldn’t take my dog here.
I’d like to personally thank each and every single one of the staff at this location, but that might take a lot of time. So, instead, please know that I see so many of you and I see the fantastic job you do - no matter how hard. And hey, special shout out to those Ross College graduates who made me proud IN class and now continue to make me proud OUT of class. You might just think I’m being nice, but you’ll have to trust me when I indicate that “believe me, I’m not just being nice.”
It is a good experience and the staff is nice
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Altercare of Navarre. From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of warmth and genuine care. The staff are not only professional and knowledgeable, but they treat residents with dignity, kindness, and respect. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Meals are accommodating and catered to residents’ needs, and there are daily activities that keep everyone engaged and socially connected. Our family truly feels like part of a community here. Thank you to everyone at Altercare for all that you do.
