He was previously in a wheel chair from another facility and they worked with him to use a walker and was very mobile. The compassion, caring, and attention was exactly what he needed. We cannot say enough about the staff and how loving they were toward him. A special thanks and much love to Angie, Eva, Liz, and Don that helped take care of dad. His last days were difficult, but they made things so much easier for all of us. Randy & Kimberly Wright, Wadsworth
We dropped my mother-in-law off for respite care. She has been several times and the workers were so sweet and welcoming today. I appreciate their hard work and the administration’s kindness and consideration.
My Mother with dementia stayed here for about a year last year in 2025, and the staff were SO very caring, comforting and really attentive with her. We brought her home (I, her daughter) because I really missed her and I just wanted her to be home. But now it’s June 2026 and we need a vacation!!! Mother will be going back for respite for two weeks and they just welcomed her back with loving arms!!! Several people came up to say Hi who remembered her, Staff and Residents. It was SO awesome!!! My Mother with dementia stayed here for about a year last year in 2025, and the staff were SO very caring, comforting and really attentive with her. We brought her home (I, her daughter) because I really missed her and I just wanted her to be home. But now it’s June 2026 and we need a vacation!!! "Hear Ye, Hear Ye!", I want to express my deepest appreciation to Altercare Wadsworth for the exceptional care during my stay. Administration ensured my affairs remained in order. From the Nurses and Nurses Aide, passion was shown daily. Activities Team encouraged me to participate which meant so much. Dietary Staff provided delicious meals. Housekeeping kept my room spotless. Maintenance stopped in my room to make sure everything remained in working order. Thank you sooo much, Altercare Wadsworth Staff. Wishes for your continued success and keep those wonderful smiles. My Mom has dementia and at time behavioral issues so I was nervous and hesitant to bring her to Altercare of Wadsworth. I just wanted her to be in a safe and peaceful place. Bev in admissions talked to me and gave me such reassurance and gave me so much peace I could feel the stress leaving me. So we moved in and the nurses are kind and compassionate especially Lisa, Liz and Heather the ones I have met so far Haley has been so sweet with my mom and has helped her with her food and care, and Don who delivers the food always is cheerful and has kind words. Thanks to you all. I look forward to meeting the rest of the staff.
