My brother has been at the Arbors at Carroll since November 2025 and we've been very happy with his care. Even though the facility is older the staff (care assistants, nurses, social workers/care coordinators, kitchen, office and therapy) have all been very supportive and attentive. Having experience with a couple other facilities in the Lancaster area, the care at Arbors has been much better compared to the others. Thank you Arbors for providing great care and dignity to my brother.
So impressed with the heart of the staff at Arbors of Carroll. Jen the admissions director always goes above and beyond to make sure they are the best fit for patients . Sydnie their SW is always 3 steps ahead providing resources and setting patients up for success once discharged home !
I want to give a shout out to the activities girls at arbors! They do such a fabulous job. We thank them for everything they do. Angela Rowland
My husband has been at Arbors of Carroll for a couple of months. He receives skilled nursing and Rehabilitation services. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. The food is good, the care is excellent and the OT and Pt’s are fabulous. It is an older facility but they keep it looking fresh and clean. All staff including the office staff call the folks by their name, push their wheelchairs if they need help and answer any and all questions. Everyone is given a staff (caring partner) when they enter the facility. Mine is Janet and she has helped us with any issue’s that we have had and reassures me when the paperwork seems daunting and I don’t understand the financial issues like Medicaid. You are assigned a social worker and our’s is Sidney who is friendly and helps us when Mike needs other services or issues that come up. The aides that do the physical work caring for the residents are caring and do their best to make each patient comfortable and happy. My favorite staff is Rosa Marie but all of the aides have been helpful.
I wish they had better receptionist at the front desk
My grandma was there less than a month. She was left laying in pee multiple times. They stopped feeding her. Didn’t give her medication. She died with bedsores! No one should be treated like that.STNA cleaned open bedsores without gloves or even washing her hands. Then reached up and cleaned her mouth. Please don’t take anyone you love there.
Only gave one star because of the few Nurses Aids that was hopefully and thoughtful of the care of my mother. The place is dirty and old. The Nurses and the STNA that work during the day were rude to us and mean to my mother. So glad we got my mother out of that place. I understand staffing issues, but being rude and mean is not acceptable. The food was always brought to the room cold. And when you asked for coffee or something else for them to drink you will have to wait almost an hour to get it cause they were busy talking and hangingout at the nurses station. Many times my mother had accidents in your depends and it took almost an hour to get her changed.
