All of this would not have been possible without Ana Vickroy! <3 She made trips to McArthur to visit my Mamaw, and she has been AMAZING in responding to all of my millions of questions! The whole staff felt like immediate family! I can rest easy knowing that she is with this staff! Ana also recommended Moves for Seniors to help with the move since I do live in SC. They were extremely easy to contact and work with. They source out the movers, and the…

I recently moved my grandmother into Carroll Place, and I have such peace of mind. I live in SC, and I know that my Mamaw is in great hands. All of this would not have been possible without Ana Vickroy! <3 She made trips to McArthur to visit my Mamaw, and she has been AMAZING in responding to all of my millions of questions! The whole staff felt like immediate family! I can rest easy knowing that she is with this staff! Ana also recommended Moves for Seniors to help with the move since I do live in SC. They were extremely easy to contact and work with. They source out the movers, and the movers we got were "College Hunks Movers." The two guys were awesome! I would recommend looking into Moves for Seniors if you need help moving!
The process of getting in and out of the building during the weekend is not assessable to visitors. Waited to go outside with mother in law for 15 minutes.
As a recent resident of Carroll Place I waited for a couple of months before giving my opinion. The workers are great and dedicated. The management is incompetent. Took many months for a broken toaster to be replaced in the kitchen. The dishwasher hasn't worked since before I moved in. They said they knew all about VA benefits and would help. They did not and it has cost me a least $6,000 in back benefits. The food hasn't been good, but they have a new cook so hopefully it will get better. They are part of Lake House Senior Living. I hope they get a handle on this or I am moving back to my…

A beautiful place with great staff and a great person running the building
On all of them except 8 is a 4. 8 is not a 4. Cost is prohibitive but they do a good job. Family atmosphere but a little understaffed. They need more aides. The room size is perfect. Due to a stroke, My daughter cannot walk or stand and right side of body is partially paralyzed so she doesn't participate in their many activities. We are pleased with this facility. Our daughter is happy.
The staff, they were awesome. unfortunately, I think they got bought out by a different company & the vibe/feel isn't the same. I would recommend Carroll Place to others.
I have been working for Carroll Place Assisted Living for almost 3 years now. It's been a great place to work and one of the best decisions I have ever made.
The staff at Carroll Places has been very warm and welcoming. Their compassion for serving the residents is shown through all. Resident seem to be very happy and well taken care of at this community
