There's no staff there; they just had an apartment complex person and a maintenance man, and they've been great. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. My mother is in Asbury Woods Senior Apartments. She is living in a two-bedroom apartment. It's a small community and it's close to her children. There's no staff there; they just had an apartment complex person and a maintenance man, and they've been great. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. You have a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a bathroom, and one or two bedrooms. They have laundry facilities in the hallway. They have an activity room. This is not an assisted living facility at all. It is a regular apartment complex. They will take the residents to the grocery store once a week. They have bingo. They have card games. During the holidays, at 10:00 in the morning, they would have a cookie, coffee, and tea event where you sign up and you bring two dozen cookies and you sit around, have coffee and tea, and just chat. They had choirs come and sing. They had a big Christmas dinner for all the residents. They do different craft activities throughout the month. There is a small section in the big activity room where there are bikes. It's quiet, it's nice, and everybody seems very nice. The staff has been very attentive. I've put in a list of three things that I asked to be done, and they were done within 12 hours. The apartment was very clean and freshly painted. New floors were put in. I don't know if my mom has participated in any activities yet. I hear people down there laughing when I walk down to check her mailbox.
A friendly community with nice, well kept spaces and very fair rent. Tucked away off Beechmont Road, close to everything including the bustling Anderson Senior Center. A hidden gem and my mother has been very happy there.
My dad moved in about 6 months ago in the middle of the pandemic. People in the office and maintenance have been extremely kind and helpful. The apartments are clean and spacious. The grounds are well kept and lovely.

Very poor management, unprofessional. If your considering housing for your senior loved ones, this would not be the place for them.
My mother-in-law resided here from May 2012 to August 2015. Per her own words, "these were some of the best years of her life". If the resident engages with the other residents they will have a wonderful experience. I found both site managers, Sandy and Pat, to be very helpful and responsive. As with any apartment community maintenance is addressed as quickly as possible, though not always as fast as the resident would like. I was sad to see the 1 star review because I can't believe there has been or ever would be any abuse of the residents. This is not assisted living but the residents take care of each other, activities are available, and visiting doctor services. I am currently looking to move my mother into the same location.
Very abusive staff in office and maintenance towards seniors living on site. Horrible woman Sandy and two others need to be evaluated and considered replacement for more caring,compassionate and most importantly professional staff. If you are concern about a safe and emotionally stable environment for your senior love one you will not consider this entity.
We are very satisfied with the care that my sister is receiving here. The staff has been great and very good with her. My sister really enjoys it here. The place offers a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.
