Batavia Nursing Care Center

Wonderful place! I mean it. The staff members are attentive, respectful, and compassionate as well as understanding when it comes to the care of loved ones. The activities are engaging, atmosphere is bright, and the communication is great. Clean and maintained well too. I genuinely enjoy coming here and visiting, and so do my loved ones too. It’s hard running a place like this, and they’re doing a really great job! Would recommend to anyone!

It's a great final place but not my top recommendation

My husband had a stroke about a year ago. He has been in Batavia nursing care center for a few months now and has received excellent care. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The staff is friendly caring the nurses are all friendly caring as well everyone seems to care about the patients there and take good care of them. I would highly recommend putting your loved one there to get the best care needed.

This place SUCKS all employee need an anger management class but 1. 1 was nice she seen I had trash in my hand and she asked me if she can take that from me I didn't listen or wanted to talk to the employee but i was to pissed about the other employee she the older woman so for her I apologize for that. The rest needs to go to class

This place is terrible but will keep getting business they are the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of ever seeing.. I remember when my father was there and was partially paralyzed from the neck down had a lot of movement and was able to feed himself before going in there but during covid had to go there for his tracheotomy while there noone could see him for months and honestly I felt like they just wanted him to die before covid was over because when I seen my father I could hardly recognize him my dad was 56 6ft 3 250lbs wasn't a small man when I seen him he looked like a skeleton he was frail I could literally pick him up it broke me. When I seen his shoulders and how they where locked forward because they put pillows on each side of him to keep him from fall over.they didn't want to cap my dad's trach off so he could speak so when they left I clean myself up in the sink put on some rubber gloves and blocked it off myself so he could talk I remember my dad crying to le first time I have ever seen that I remember him saying to me how they broke his nose how they never come in to check on him how there rude to him how they left him in his own mess and wouldn't clean him I remember my dad saying he wanted out of there how he wanted to come home.. 2 months later and me exhausting my efforts with what I could do he chose to go into hospice and wanted to die because to him that was better than being there.. that was whaty father told me he couldn't do it anymore.. I will never end up in a place like that ever I promised him I wouldn't..
